Great value cases

I actually ruined my camera with this thing. and I STILL give 4 stars. Smart Tip: Remove the strap from your camera before using this bag. I have used this piece every day in Hawaii and have been very happy with the results. I was too lazy to get the camera in and out of the bag and one day the strap got caught in the seam and I didn't notice. Since it worked fine for a few days, I also became too casual to check before soaking. Damn - a small leak and about 5 minutes later. the camera is dead. :( I felt like an idiot seeing what I was doing. I was sure this wouldn't happen again so I removed the strap from the rear camera and used it for the rest of the week with no problems.. So apart from that big oops The case was easy to use and allowed for some great photos in and under the water where we wouldn't have taken photos otherwise. The hard case made it easy to keep in the water and the soft Plastic was perfect for pressing buttons A great find A few tips for best results: - Make sure to use the foam inserts and/or whatever to keep the camera lens as close to the front of the case as possible Top part if possible of the body (if you need access to the buttons on top of the camera) creates more glare - turn off these settings: fast power save mode, focus assist, flash - others say the flash works with i Your camera works, but I didn't like the results (and didn't need the flash where I was). - Increase the brightness of the LCD as much as possible. - Underwater pictures look best with "Aquarium". " if your camera has one. Otherwise, use a color correction afterwards to minimize blue tones. - Remove the strap from your camera (see above) - Always check the seal! One click gives you more shooting possibilities. I could record great videos with this thing, also touch control cameras can be a little bit of a hassle.

Pros
  • High test scores for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
