It is of good quality, but I won't buy it again.

1) It heats up quite noticeably, but it almost does not turn the fans. Only on heavy tasks, but that's how it should be.
2) The absence of standard USB-A is not felt yet. Transitioners decide.
3) The keyboard is good, I was afraid that it would be worse, but so far everything is very good.
4) Consumes so much that you need your own powerful charger. Although he is also good friends with the younger ones.

All in all, a worthy replacement for a 10 year old 17".

Pros

0) This is a top-end MacBook Pro. In the best traditions of Apple. 1) Screen. It is slightly smaller than the previous 17", but it's quite good. 2) Surprisingly good bass. Although, I would like an equalizer.

Cons

0) Cost. But it's worth it. 1) The biggest minus is the trackbar. Trackbar, it's a fail. Solid random clicks and tricky logic. It's convenient that you can reprogram, but the rest is very unusable (for me). I would have preferred the standard function buttons and trackbar above. Minus a star for that. To be honest, I would replace the trackbar with regular buttons if I could. Or so that he recognizes the force of pressing. 2) Lack of MagSafe. They could make their own branded magnetic adapter and set the standard. But no. One of the best properties sawed out. We'll have to interrupt third-party manufacturers. 3) Podcasts. App from 102022 is just disgusting. iTunes is also breaking a bit, but it's holding up so far. 4) It's a pity that they sawed out the dashboard. It was very comfortable with him. It is clear that you can partially replace the screen areas, but the migration is not trivial and several copies of the same program (I used four calculators) cannot be launched just like that. The trackbar pulls on a full-fledged star, but 3 stars are not enough. So minus one. : “The podcasts never got fixed.
