I love these shoes!

Okay, let's start with the fact that I'm a wide-legged woman. Dirty secret aside, this makes it almost impossible to buy shoes because they are either too tight (for wide shoes) or I have to buy a size up and wear shoes that are a bit big. I bought these shoes because my feet hurt from wearing my current pair of worn out dog walking shoes and sneakers (and mowing the lawn and romping the yard and walking a million miles around town) and it was time to step down from my current pair earth to withdraw shoes. After a year and a half of bullying the last pair of shoes never fit right and I was stuck in a shoe that was too tight which still hurt me so I was only able to walk the dog a mile before my feet hurt and we did get up early . The last straw was walking about 10 miles a day around Boston while on vacation and returning on icy feet. Something had to be done. I switched to men's shoes because my Birkenstocks fit perfectly on hippie feet and are more unisex. One night I looked at my bloody sore feet and realized I need men's shoes as they complement the super comfy sandals. So I turned to eBay for help as many local shoe stores don't carry size 7.5 shoes. (What are teenagers and teens doing? Do they walk around here barefoot?). I went through the lists for a few days and narrowed the list down to this couple and one more. I ended up buying it because the blue ones had the cute factor (sorry guys they're pretty cute but that's ok! I think it's about a 7.5 and a size 8, they're going to be male and getting facial hair). So I put on these suckers and of course my Traxasaurus pup figured out that sneakers = GO NOW! So the monstrous 120-pound pup had to go for a walk right here and now (we'll see you say no to those huge brown eyes and sudden psychic energy out of nowhere). I shrugged, thinking I'd take it for a test drive around the block. Well the block ended in a 2 mile walk through town with a huge bear dog chasing me after a much longer walk than I expected so exhausted (to be honest it was 72 degrees Fahrenheit here so it was great!). I got home to find my feet didn't hurt at all, I had just taken my new shoes for a 2 mile test run and they passed with flying colors. no socks! 0o0 ! Now I've fallen in love with these shoes and I know that the walks will be much more comfortable for me and the puppy.

Pros
  • The shoes are stylish enough to wear outside of the gym.
Cons
  • Shoes are not eco-friendly
