Hemming and Darning for Sewing Curtains and Drapes at Home

Thank you to Sew Vac Direct and Revain for using this brand of sewing machine. I sewed on industrial Juki machines so I had no doubt that the Juki brand was the right choice. The functions of this machine allow the seamstress to go from sewing clothes, hems and darning to sewing household items like curtains and drapes to seamless quilting. The transition from one function to another is flawless. I just completed a 108" x 112" quilt and this machine would make the process easy. I love the precise placement of the 1/4" needle for the tight 1/4" needles that are flawless every time. I like the threader. This machine is quiet compared to entry-level machines. Lighting, there are two LEDs, one above the needle, one above the bed. The machine is intuitive and easy to set up and ready to use. I played with mine for half an hour and started sewing another blanket. This machine produces quality stitching every time. I also like the bobbin winder, it fills a smooth and tight even bobbin and has an independent bobbin motor so you don't have to stop sewing to fill the bobbin. The free motion quilting foot is so well designed that it makes the FMQ an easy task. I cannot say enough about this machine, I knew what Juki would offer as I rode Juki machines run by Levis Strauss many years ago. I'm not disappointed. It was the right car for me.
