Good Easel For Kids, Causal Use

Product: VOCHIC Adjustable Painting Tabletop EaselI got this tabletop easel to use with my smaller diamond paintings to make the craft more comfortable for my neck and back. I didn’t have the room or inclination for the expense of a drafting or adjustable table. This has worked exactly as I needed and expected. I can move it easily to different areas of the house to use it. It is fast to set up or store when not in use. It doesn’t take a lot of space in my closet when not in use. The height can be adjusted to any incline you want. There aren’t any preset heights. I find the nut mechanism a bit tedious, but it isn’t a big deal for me.This might be beech wood (a hard wood), I can’t say for sure. The flat top, where you put your work, is pretty thin. The frame is more substantial. The ledge is wide enough to hold the work securely. The nuts and screws don’t appear too cheap with good threads. I haven’t had any problems screwing them. The only minor issue is the wings can hit the frame at times when tightening them.As they say in the description, this should be considered a beginner easel or one for casual use. I’m not sure how long it would hold up with a rambunctious child. For my intended uses, it works just fine. I can also see using it in other ways now that I have it.I’m not sure about pricing, as it is currently unavailable. I would put this easel in the $15-$20 range considering the thinness of the surface, no storage area and tripod nature

Pros
  • Given its affordability and versatility, the easel offers a great value for artists of all skill levels, hobbyists, and students who need a high-quality workspace
Cons
  • The price point of the adjustable wooden artist easel is relatively high compared to other tabletop options, which may not be feasible for artists on tighter budgets
