I've had this device for 2 months. Used almost every day. The Ethernet connection is disconnected every day. I checked the CAT5 ethernet cable, only 2 meters long, there shouldn't be any communication problems. Changed router port, no difference. Maybe it's the heating. Only unplug the device after using it for more than 1/2 hour. To fix the communication problem, I have to unplug the USB-TC cable, turn off the hub, and turn it back on. Very annoying! By the way, I use the hub with my Inspiron that I bought last Christmas and recommended by Dell tech support. Today I updated Realtek GBE driver (version 1st August 2019) for laptop and WD19 docking station. Ethernet failures seemed to be more common!
