It seemed as though the sound in these headphones was a little muffled in comparison to their earlier model, the RJE 118, which I had used before, but in comparison to other brands, they are clearly among the best. I really liked the headphones for their sound. It's funny how, up to around two or three thousand, there is literally no distinction at all, as if everyone came from the same factory. But if you think that by purchasing headphones for three thousand dollars, you will be able to hear a significant difference, I am going to have to disappoint you. Yes, the stage may become a little wider or the bass may become a little deeper, and the frequencies may be pulled up in some places, but this will be such a negligible difference that the efficiency will be well past due. You are able to con yourself indefinitely, but if you want to listen to music with a truly high-quality sound, you need budget at least 10,000 won for the cost of headphones to go along with an entry-level player. It only remains for me to mention that if you are seeking for headphones with good bass that are deep and penetrating to the depths, I strongly suggest that you purchase the Razer Hammerhead v1. The second version was made available for purchase, however this one is very different from the first. I have not come across anyone who can compare to them.
