Ideal for me! good for computers and accessories

With so many devices vying for USB ports, this hub is awesome! In terms of performance, my iPad Pro has always been very temperamental when it comes to charging. Many USB ports, even on my new laptop, don't deliver enough power to charge this thing. Every port on this hub, not just charging ports, charges my iPad! And what about all those ON/OFF switches that might seem redundant? However, this is a feature I've come to love. Disabling unused ports eliminates the fairly bright LED associated with each of those ports. In addition, you can keep your devices connected to the network without worrying about constant charging. You can leave the device connected to the network, simply disable the port it is plugged into and let the device run on battery power until it needs to be charged. Then just press the button and it will recharge. This USB hub was the final step in setting up my desktop. At home, the laptop is closed and placed on a stand in the corner of my desk (change the 'close lid' action to 'do nothing' when it's plugged in). The only thing that connects directly to my laptop at home is: 1. Power cord2. a USB-C Thunderbolt to my Display Link3 hub. a USB hub with 3 to 11 ports. Plug in the three plugs and my laptop is ready to go. At home on my desk I have two external 21" monitors (actually three, but I'm not counting the tiny 7" midget I've always had), a full-size wireless keyboard and mouse, hardwired ethernet , external speakers, an external Logitech webcam (remember the laptop is closed so the built-in webcam is off), an Apple Watch stand with charger, an iPad stand with charger and of course an iPhone stand with charger , my weather station, a digital picture frame and other miscellaneous devices to charge or sync. All this and I only use two ports on the laptop. Between laptop, display communication hub and USB hub, I know I have 20 USB ports, I think I've been covered for a while.

Pros

Cons
