Review on Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 215/60 R17 96 winter by Boguslawa Bieda ᠌

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

I put this rubber on myself just at the moment when there was heavy ice and I was driving to Bridgestone officials on summer tires to buy and install Blizzak DM-V2. On summer tires (six months old) I rolled out to the intersection twice like a cow on ice)) - well, it was sooo slippery ! Drove no more than 20 km/h! I came to the officials, put tires Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 235/60 R18 107S, drove onto that road along the bark on summer tires, glided like a ballerun and . lo and behold! ))) Winter tires hold the road perfectly, brakes great on ice, behaves decently in porridge too! Pros: + rubber is stable on ice; + in corners on ice, the car also holds (although I have an Audi Q5 four-wheel drive, so I can’t say how it will be in corners on the rear or front drive); + I drove through snowy porridge and with melting snow - I did not reveal any problems, the car was driven confidently. + very quiet tires, almost like summer tires Minuses: as such, I didn’t reveal any minuses, the only thing is that on dry pavement (the temperature was +6 degrees) at speeds of 130 km / h and above, the rubber handling is not as good as on my standard Bridgestone Dueler H / P summer tires. The car seems to be floating. this is especially noticeable when overtaking, when the speed during overtaking reaches 150-160 km / h (i. E. overtaking 2-3 trucks on the highway at once). CONCLUSION: for winter (ice and soft snow), Blizzak DM-V2 tires are a very worthy option. I am pleased with her. I bought from the officials for 6700. Changing shoes cost me 1400 for 4 wheels. 1 year warranty! )) PS I did not try rubber in severe frosts, because. there were none yet. PS2 I almost forgot to say: one wheel was balanced for me for about 30-40 minutes, well, it didn’t give in to me. The remaining wheels were balanced quickly (3-5 minutes per wheel).

Pros
  • quiet and stable on ice
Cons
  • on dry pavement at a speed of 160-170 km/h floats in a kale.
