Review on ASA VFR Trifold Kneeboard - Model KB-3: Enhanced SEO-friendly Version by Davey Kamau

Good value for money, works great

I originally ordered a knee pad that was too long and kept bumping into the yoke. I gave it a chance and I like it very much. It's a good length, it's just that I can't fit a piece in without dangling the last inch, but honestly I don't care. Placing the breakout bar behind the clipboard suits me a lot. The only thing I'm comfortable with is that 1) the slits for the knee straps were precut (you'll have to cut them yourself BUT they're at least sewn to open, just not really cut like a new jacket) and 2) the pockets were a bit stiffer/trained. The fabric relaxes slightly and the pockets feel "stretched". Again, no big deal. Perfectly holds documents in flight and when folded. However, I fly with an iPad and have a thin stylus which I really like. The problem with this pen is that it's metal, flimsy, and falls out of almost any pen holder. He stayed on that kneeboard, though, and I'm very grateful for that. I also have a rubber grip but it's very hard to get it out of the mount while flying. All in all I would buy them again and definitely recommend them. It's not perfect, but it works great and suits me.
