This 12-piece template set is perfect for the beginning journalist. The price is great but I have a few complaints. First, there's no place in the kit to store stencils, just an ugly brown envelope that doesn't protect it at all. The carrying case isn't strong enough but it had stencils on it for delivery to me. Stencils are great for thin pens, but not for large-tipped writing implements like felt-tipped pens and markers. Even some of my thinnest pens fail to draw some stencils (see umbrella stencil image). Stencils are great because this material allows you to erase the ink if you happen to make a mark on the stencil itself. Sometimes the stencil deforms a bit when tracing (see video), so you have to press very hard, otherwise the design can deteriorate. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone who enjoys bullet journaling or crafting but just knows you get what you pay for.
