Bought this machine to replace a worn blindstitch (different brand). A few weeks after installation, there was a very strong smell of engine oil, but after a few months it was completely gone. The machine was easy to set up although I will note that some of the packaging bags were very dirty/stained and I watched the video in the product description which also helped with the set up. I am very disappointed with the quality control of the finish, if they had tested the machine before selling it they would have noticed that the motor belt is either too big or the motor is not extended to increase the belt tension . I had to buy special tools to unbolt the motor and press it to give the belt the tension it needed to spin the wheel. a more user-friendly blind binder at the same price and some even slightly cheaper.
