We wanted a small electric kettle to boil water for tea and Vietnamese pour over coffee while travelling in our RV. This kettle is great because it boils water in less than 5 minutes, we can see the water boiling, it comes with a travel bag, and it folds down to half of its size. Very happy with this purchase!

No smell or bad taste when new. I simply followed the instructions to wash thoroughly (mild dish soap) and then heat water, empty and repeat three times before first use. Couple of things with this— the lid causes the fluid to pour incorrectly so I keep it up.The cord is so thick that it takes some effort to push into the receptacle. However, the main reasonfor the purchase was the removable cord. It heats quickly. It will, in the beginning, cause your waterto burn if you boil it too hard. This disappears after several uses. Overall, happy with the purchase.

It is one of the must have to take it on the go. It comes with a little black bag for storage. After folding it, it does not take too much storage space. I am able to make one full size cup of tea with this electric kettle. Once the kettle bring the water to boil, it shut off automatically, then it will reboil the water after a certain time or temperature. I love this function. I can easily make roman noodle at work now since I can take this kettle on the go.

Used this kettle for my camping trip to Moab, Utah and it was a game changer. I was able to make coffee and oatmeal in a jiffy. I didn’t need to mess with the camp stove first thing upon waking up and waiting for water to boil etc. helps tremendously if you have a power source or inverter!
