The BEST spark plug removal tool!

This is way better than any deep nut for pulling spark plugs. I came across this in a blog about changing Toyota spark plugs. I'm so glad I found this wonderful spark plug removal tool. This greatly simplifies the replacement of spark plugs. I can highly recommend this remedy.

Misuse, Perfect Tool, Works Great

This tool was absolutely perfect for my needs. I bought this to try and loosen the block lower shift cable nut from the downforce on the Mercruiser Alpha One Gen 2. It sits too deep in the hole for a traditional deep socket. It worked great and was worth the money. Great product, I can only recommend it.

Hard Tool - Tools and Equipment

Required for replacing spark plugs on Mazda Tribute, 16mm diameter spark plugs and deep in-seated rocker covers. My standard outlet barely fit so I did a search and found this one. The puller fits perfectly and gives me enough clearance above the engine (valve cover wires + coils) to turn the socket wrench and torque wrench. Good spark plug grip (to avoid a 4" spark plug falling into the engine and bolting the gap. Hard steel puller, can't wait to use it as a puller or hammer/rock breaker again

Good tool but: Spark Plug and Spark Plug Tools

The tool will get the job done but there were a few things I didn't like. 1 is a bit long, all my other long candlesticks are shorter. They are long enough to stick out of the spark plug tube, but the tube sticks out a bit. The extra length can be an issue. 2 small pieces of rubber sticking to the spark plug was too tight not to hit the spark plug, sprayed silicon spray on it and pressed the spark plug 5, it continued to work with less pressure but still a little tight.

An indispensable tool for many new cars. But a few downsides.

Like: I like that it protrudes from the valve cover of my Nissan Note. (The spark plugs are so deep in the engine that you risk losing shorter sockets in the spark plug well.) The tool fit the spark plugs well when I finally put it on the spark plugs. Dislikes: The rubber grommet in the tool was too tight. I had to use a drill and round file to open up the hole a bit to fit the spark plug. It's rubber so it was easy. The tool showed signs of surface rust in the packaging but this rubbed off…

I hope not too much, otherwise it's useless. I made sure it was tough.

Do not buy if you own a BMW 335i. First, the spark plug doesn't fit the rubber tip that holds it in place when you want to remove the spark plug. So I had to keep trimming the rubber until it fitted one of my new plugs I was about to install, hopefully not too much or it would be useless. I made sure it was tight using wd-40 just to get it through the connector. After that the holes in the valve cover on the 335i are not centered over the plugs so with such a long head it gets stuck on the…

Long Base, Shallow Hal Levels Shallow Wells

When I bought this product I knew the outlet chute would be shorter than I wanted, magnetic chute base and all. I thought the well would be at least 2 to 1 1/2 inches deep in the socket, but the well is 1 inch. This can work for standard sized spark plugs, but if you have custom sized spark plugs, don't let the socket reach the hex of the spark plug, meaning you can't screw the spark plugs in or out. Which really defeats the purpose of that long 5 inch plus jack. You can see at the 3/8th end of
