Adapter Mounting Bracket Reusable Organizer Review

These brackets are made from high quality metal and are easy to fit. They come with all the screws needed for installation. The only problem was that one of the holes was the wrong thread, but nothing, a little pressure on the screwdriver doesn't fix it. It is recommended to use your own screwdriver as the included screwdriver will strip the screws. Didn't need to take a star off the rating for something so easy to fix.

Good product. Came in good condition, easy to install. Great buy for the price. But as other reviewers point out, the rail mount screws don't go in the holes. Very frustrating! I already had some of the previous PC jobs and have replaced them. I recommend this product, but I strongly recommend that prospective buyers get some screws that fit their computer's mounting rails before attempting to install the rails that came with it.

As you can see in the attached picture, the bracket is facing out. There is very little space in a standard ATX case. 2.5 inch drives (including SSDs and HDDs) are small enough to fit in the silver "bezel". The only positive thing I would like to say about this mount is that it is magnetic, i.e. electrical voltages can circulate better, the main body acts as a "mass". Hard disk.

Pretty solid product to replace my existing 3.5" HDD with an SSD. However, the side screw holes are too small to reuse these side screws from the existing side screws, which is necessary to secure the hard drive in place and immobility. I ended up having to drill a hole to get the screw in. They should have thought about it if they were going to advertise it as a 3.5-inch hard drive replacement.

The side holes for attachment to your case are not threaded like the holes on a standard hard drive. If your case uses screws designed for hard drives (like the long screws on the Antec 1200), you will not be able to install this mounting bracket. If your case uses short screws you can probably replace them with the supplied screws and everything will work, but I don't understand why a bracket designed to be installed in a hard drive bay doesn't use the same threads as a hard drive. It has four holes that match the screw holes on the bottom of the drive and three on each side that match the screw holes on 3.5" drives. Any place where a 3.5" drive is to be rail or screw mounted. the pages will work with these. It's also a big plus that I have two of these in one package. I would definitely buy them again.

This bracket is designed exactly how I wanted it. But I had a bit of an issue with the threaded holes on the sides fitting too tightly with the screws they give you. The screws are not to blame. These are regular M3 x 0.5 screws (diameter 3mm x pitch 0.5mm). Problem with tapped hole. So I cleaned them with an M3 x 0.5 tap and they are fine now.
