Description of Adapter Ring M42 - Canon EOS Alloy

The adapter ring M42 - Canon EOS is designed for mounting lenses with M42 thread (including lenses for Zenith cameras) on Canon EOS cameras. As a rule, old lenses with an M42 thread are ten times cheaper than modern Canon lenses, and the image quality is often much higher. With this adapter, you can get excellent shots using old Helios, Mir, Zenitar, Jupiter lenses on your Canon camera, while saving on expensive branded optics. The big minus in this optics lies in the manual or, as everyone calls it, "manual" mode, that is, in simple words, it is not suitable for dynamic shooting, only mainly for studio and landscapes. Only a few are well adapted to use it for shooting video. Not everyone will be able to immediately adapt to such lenses. Material: anodized aluminium. Adapter ring M42-Canon compatible with cameras: Canon EOS 400D, 450D, 500D, 550D, 1000D, 30D, 40D, 50D, 60D, 1D, 5D, 5D mark II, 7D, Canon EOS-1D Mark II, Canon EOS-1D Mark III etc. The adapter ring M42-Canon is compatible with the following lenses: MS Zenitar-M, 1.9/50, M42Industar 50-2, 3.5/50, M42Telyt, 1:4/200, Leitz WetzlarIndustar-61 L/Z-MS, 2.8/50, M42Helios-44 M, 2/58, M42MS Zenitar-M, 1.9/50, M42I-51, 4.5/210, M42Mir-1V, 2.8/37, M42Auto Revuenon 1: 3.5 f=200 mm, M42Vivitar 200 mm 1:3.5, M42Caranar F1:2.8 f=55mm, M42Auto Revuenon 1:2.8 f=135 mm, M42Tokina Tele-Auto 1:2.8 f=135 mm , M42Auto Yashinon-DS, 50 mm 1:2, M42Telear-N, 3.5/200, M42Jupiter-37 A, 3.5/135, M42Revuenon-Zoom 1:3.8 f=35-105mm, M42Zenitar- M, 1.7/50, M42Mir-1, 2.8/37, M42Granit-11, 4.5/80-200, M 42Vivitar Series 1 28mm 1:1.9 VMC, M42Zenitar-ME1, 1.7/ 50, MS, M42Auto-Beroflex 82° 1:3.5 f=25 mm, M42Helios-44M-4, 2/58, MS, M42Tair-11 A, 2.8/135, M42Jupiter-37A, 3.5 /135, М42 Olympic Porsche Color Reflex MC 1:1,7/50 mm Macro F, M42Volna-9, 2,8/50 МS, macro, М42Industar-61 L/Z, 2,8/50, М42Domiplan, 2,8 /50 Meyer-Optik, M42Jupiter-21 M, 4/200, M42MS Helios-44M-6, 2/58, M42Spiraton fish-eye 1:8 f=12 mm, M42Hel ios-44M-4, 2/58, M42Zenitar-M 2, 2/50, MS, M42Helios-44-2, 2/58, M42Zenitar-M, 1.7/50, M42Vivitar 28mm 1:2.5, M42Helios -40, 1.5/85 (white) Jupiter-9, 2/85, M42Porst Color Reflex MC Auto, 1.4/55, M42Pentacon 4/200, M42Pentacon auto, 1.8/50 MC, M42Auto Cimko 1: 3.5 F=25 mm, M42Helioplan 1:4.5/40 V Meyer-Optik Gorlitz, M42Helios-44M-

Impressions from the purchase are good, buy.

Tested on Canon 6D and 600D cameras. I put Helios and Tair lenses . In both cases, it came up like a native, but both here and there the digital markings of the lenses turned out to be on the side. You can use it, but the "Chinese" obviously did not think of this important nuance. Got pros: The adapter does its job perfectly. The thread is cut without distortion, so that the lenses are wound smoothly and without problems. Cons below: Incorrect final fixation of the lens (after screwing it…
