Didn't last 5 months

My husband is very picky when it comes to shoes. He works 80 hours a week in harsh weather and terrain. He needed durable, waterproof shoes with good grip. Tired of wearing boots, he found them and hoped they were enough. At $110, I was hesitant to buy them as he's literally walked through his shoes in the past. However, with a big break, I bought them as a gift for his birthday in March 2019. At first he liked her very much. Great fit, supportive and waterproof but it didn't last long…

Pros
  • Exactly what we ordered. Great pair of shoes
Cons
  • I love the look of them but... wore them 4 days a week for 4 months and they started to fall apart.

Incorrect size label

I like to try on shoes before I buy them, but I ordered them thinking I knew my size from the adidas brand. However, the size tag on these shoes is wrong. See photos for reference. The tag on my old adidas shoes says $10.5, 10 UK, 44 French 2/3, 285 Japanese dollars, 275 Swiss francs. The label on this new adidas pair is $10.50 but all others are less. UK 9, FR 43 1/3, JP 275, CHN 265. A quick Google search shows the old label is correct. These shoes are too small.

Pros
  • Waterproof: Thanks to the Gore-Tex membrane, this shoe is completely waterproof, making it a great option for rainy or wet weather.
Cons
  • May not provide adequate toe protection from obstacles on the trail.

Very comfortable shoe fit

Bought these for work as I'm on my feet and running all day. I used to have the Adidas Terrex brand and they were great. They wear and feel really good.

Pros
  • This was a gift for my nephew and he loved the shoes.
Cons
  • The left shoe makes a "flip" sound when walking or running!

Not adidas the best for me

The shoes were good initially but before they broke they literally fell apart. Sole fell off after 3 months. Recommended for light walking only.

Pros
  • I want this shoe to improve on its laces
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all foot types

What a great shoe for rainy weather

My husband loved having them for a recent trip to the UK, Ireland and Scotland so he splashed around a lot! Perfect, comfortable and very durable. everything Goretex is on my GOOD list!

Pros
  • Good landing and good process
Cons
  • May not provide adequate traction on slippery surfaces.

Highly recommended best in my rating

I've tried different brands but this is the best I've ever bought. It's comfortable and no more sore feet and ankles. Compared to other brands, I like this one better and I will buy another one in a different style.

Pros
  • it's super comfortable
Cons
  • Limited availability can make finding replacement pairs difficult.

Great all round shoe

I usually wear a 12 or 13 (but usually only for boots when wearing thick socks). The 12's were tight, but the 13's fitted perfectly. I was looking for a waterproof Gore-Tex hiking shoe that felt more like a tennis shoe than a boot. I don't walk much, but I do visit the southeastern United States often. I wanted a versatile outdoor shoe that would keep my feet dry. Before I had a pair of sneakers, they were mostly short boots. They weren't light, never felt nimble, and felt heavy at the end of…

Pros
  • breathing
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all types of running wear.

Comfortable but didn't last 2 months.

The heel is worn and the sides fall out of the sole in less than 2 months. They still fit well and feel comfortable. No heavy type approval from me.

Pros
  • Was looking for something to wear instead of rubber when it rains. Gore-Tex keeps my feet dry and they fit quite well.
Cons
  • May not provide adequate insulation in cold weather

Great purchase, my review

Gave them to my boyfriend for Christmas and he said they are very comfortable, really waterproof and have big chunky eyelets that are nice to hook into. I increased the size in half based on suggestions from other reviewers and this strategy worked because they fit well.

Pros
  • Definitely waterproof...arch support is terrible...excellent grip when wet...
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with high arches.

Versatile shoes - my new review

Great product that lasts in all weathers and is a daily show for me! It also helps reduce knee strain and back problems due to the stability of the sole. Will be buying another pair for outdoor use soon as they have held up well on trails and water crossings.

Pros
  • The Legend Ink/Legend Ink/Glow Blue color scheme is both sleek and eye-catching so you'll look great at the track.
Cons
  • Limited availability can make compatibility with exercise equipment difficult.

The shoes rub heavily on the heel

Shoes are good and fit well but where they seeded the gortex the inside of the shoe sticks out and rubs very hard on the heel causing blisters. For this reason I will be returning these shoes.

Pros
  • Shoes came very timely and exactly what I ordered!
Cons
  • The quality of the shoes is good but not for a wide leg.

Cracks on the sides less than 2 months

I bought it on May 9th, there are already big tears on the sides and the stitching has come undone. Formerly waterproof and very comfortable

Pros
  • Work shoes for my husband and with his insoles they fit very well...he has sore feet and needs insoles.
Cons
  • They sent me women's 8.5 instead of men's 8.5, of course the shoes were too small.

Stylish and waterproof Gore-Tex shoes.

I bought them for my husband as a Christmas present. One or both of our dogs ate the last pair of waterproof shoes. They look good and I hope they are comfortable. It uses a curve for fishing in the rain and during the winter months. I'll update my review once he tries it.

Pros
  • I love these shoes! I work in construction and perfect for work and hot days!
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for repeated use

Works little! But at least one size bigger!

In terms of durability and performance these are great shoes but they run small (my husband wears a 9 and I have a 9 1/2 and they were still too small), especially in the toe area they are very short.

Pros
  • The Continental Tracerocker rubber outsole offers excellent traction and ensures you retain traction even on slippery or wet trails.
Cons
  • May chafe or irritate some types of feet

They work!: my review

They work really well! My husband wore them during our trip to Disney which was very rainy. His socks and feet were always dry.

Pros
  • They always fit right out of the box.
Cons
  • May not provide adequate cushioning for impacts on hard surfaces.

Great shoes! in my opinion

Bought these for my picky fiancé. He loves her. He was so happy to get them and has been wearing them every day since I gave them to him and he has had no problems.

Pros
  • So far as good quality as advertised
Cons
  • Great fit, good grip and great sole. Disappointed with the softness of the insole.

Great waterproof trail runner.

Fits great right out of the box. Waterproof and comfortable. Pretty aggressive topic. Definitely a worthy trail running shoe. The outsole is slightly stiffer than standard shoes.

Pros
  • Fits well, good quality, comfortable
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with injuries or mobility issues.

Fits perfectly. good for me

Fits perfectly. Feels good. You can tell by the look and feel that they are waterproof. They creak on the hard floor. Maybe it will pass. I let her go on a Baltic cruise in the spring, expecting the weather to be cool and humid.

Pros
  • Excellent sneakers recommended by several colleagues.
Cons
  • May not be as breathable as other trail running shoes.

Don't worry, good for me

The shoes fall apart after only two months of use. Scuffs on both shoes in the same place. They were very comfortable and waterproof, but nothing more. Too badly made to be in this condition. Save money and buy something better.

Pros
  • Great shoes, a bit uncomfortable at the toe but good sturdy shoes.
Cons
  • Limited design may not appeal to all consumers

Sneakers that act as boots

I bought them to replace my winter boots. They have excellent grip and are waterproof. Not the warmest but more comfortable and convenient, I don't have to change my shoes when I get to work.

Pros
  • These shoes are perfect for keeping my feet warm and also dry. no doubt his wonderful shoes when training in the rain
Cons
  • May not provide enough support for long distance runs or intense trail running.
