Poorly finished, not centered by teeth

Chopper guide teeth move the drive pin relative to the chain pin. You need to manually install the pin and gently tighten it. It works, but it's annoying.

NOT for 415 chains

The handle is too short to properly enclose the 415 link and the pusher is too large and tapered rather than a straight bar so you don't push the pin all the way out be able. It tends to skew links if you try. Works as a last resort if you have a vise to try and pull the pin out on the other end, but there are better ones elsewhere.

No, don't get it!

Seems to be a good tool for disassembling the chain. nope! I strongly advise against trying this tool! It's well made for the price, but it does NOT push the chain pin all the way out! So it's useless. The push pin is not long enough, so if the chain is damaged or even slightly rusted, you will not be able to disassemble the link. Find a chain breaking tool with the pin inserted all the way through the link.

Cons
  • Non-automatic
