I'm not at all impressed with the adhesive used. I thought it was durable but when I installed the RAM Mount phone charger and phone the adhesive came off. piss off!

I bought this to attach my RAM mount but the adhesive that came with it was terrible. I ended up buying superglue to stick on. I should have just sent it back but I'm very impatient.

Adhesive came off just 24 hours after installation. The underside is ribbed and hollow instead of flat. This provided very little surface area for the tape and it failed fairly easily.

After following the assembly instructions and leaving the adhesive for 24 hours, it came loose during use. I would not recommend this for installing a car dashboard.

Attachment is good/strong and sticky was good until spring went and summer came. However, the released page was the factory page. The side I glued to the dashboard is still fine, so it's not because I didn't prepare the surface properly.

The base is plastic, not flexible at all. If the spot you put it on is not perfectly flat and protected from the sun, it can work. On the dashboard. not as much. Any lateral force detaches it. The glue will come off at the base first as nothing sticks to this plastic. A complete waste of money.

Well when I first got this it seemed good so I installed it in my jeep on the dash. Everything seemed fine. Until yesterday when it failed disastrously. I lived almost a year when the ball unscrewed itself! The plastic broke and my phone and cradle fell to the floor of the jeep. In the middle of the trail! Disappointing to be sure. Needless to say I will be replacing this with an all aluminum version and will never take this again. I hope you have better luck if that's what you're up to.

I was disappointed with the RAM suction cup mount for my car phone and decided to try one of these as a permanent solution. It is installed in a small glass triangle on the driver's side between the windshield and the door and has been there since last September.
