Habanero Men's ASICS Gel Venture Running Shoes - Enhancing Performance Review

I have to say it was awful. Bought Venture 5s, I really liked it. Bought 3 pairs in 3 years. This time they were no longer available and I tried these eights. You've never been comfortable. They were loose and didn't quite fit, but I figured it just broke them. Fast forward a month and still. Started wearing them as casual shoes as they were not suitable for running. My feet hurt now if I have to walk in them for more than 20 minutes. Very disappointed. Still like Asics but they were terrible…

I've been wearing Asics Gel running shoes for a long time without any problems. In just 4 months of use, they fall apart and are uncomfortable to wear. The inside of your heel is torn and my foot wants to break out of the show while walking. I've had 3, 4 and 5 ventures, they were all great but don't waste your hard earned money.

I've had the old version of these shoes for a few years now and I really like them. They are light and hold up well. The new ones fit just as well and were immediately comfortable. Highly recommended!

Arrived on time, looks great. Great shoes for the price. I ordered a size 10, for me it was a bit small on the big toe, next time I would order a size 10.5. Otherwise it's good

I just received them and they feel great. We're careful, you have a wide foot. They're more on the narrow side. Luckily I have a slightly narrow foot and they fit like a glove. Very comfortable and still felt good after refereeing two full football games. Grass grip was excellent.

I am on my 4th pair now the rest have not worn out they are just great shoes and I need additions. They're great for regular running with shoes, but I wouldn't buy them for running anything other than trails. They're too heavy for street runners. I was looking for running shoes for my husband who has wide feet with a bit of flat feet. They come in a wide range and work great for that. They look good, especially in gray with a gray sole. I don't like the look of the chunky white soles of the sneakers. It took a while, I returned a few pairs of sneakers in our search, but I think we found a great pair for him!

My husband has been wearing the 9th shoe size for many years. He would wear them on a short walk around the neighborhood to try them on, hoping they would stretch, but instead his left one pinched his big toe, making him very ill, and eventually the toenail turned black. At the price you should have guessed that they are not of good quality. I'm a big fan of Asics, but they're just bad. Forget the laces which really stink as others have pointed out. There's no footrest and the construction feels flimsy. My 5 year old Asics I've had have been more comfortable than these new ones. They also work a little less. This is convenient...... but on a slippery floor it's even worse.... You can fall very easily. But everything else is cool.

Extremely convenient right out of the box. Great traction for trail running. And they look cool too. The size is a bit big.

All my ASICS men's running shoes are a size 9. They are wider and longer than any of my other pairs. They fit as I expect out of 10. I'm happy with the camber and comfort, but I'm wondering if they're wrong. I like them but this is the first pair I don't like.

I've literally had them (not this version but an older one) since around 2016 - almost seven years. Yes, they're worn, but they're still functional—and they've had numerous hikes, runs, and even races. Great budget shoes that I recommend - maybe even better than more expensive shoes.

I like the style and style of the insoles but they are not designed for wide American feet, I had to make them very wide and they are still a bit narrow but there is enough room in the toe box.

I ordered 10 but it looks more like 10.5. The shoe is a size 10 but is about half an inch longer than my existing size 10 of the same brand.

use of this footwear for exercise; not to walk. I have no complaints. after a few foot injuries I appreciate the rather firm sole.

I love these shoes and would buy them again but if I had to choose between gel 7 or 8 I would prefer 7! The 7 seems to offer more support and comfort than the 8.

I'm glad I bought them. The gel in the insole is nice and soft and I feel great when I walk. Buy them, you can't go wrong. Fits perfectly.
