Great sound, not great battery life

The best thing about Amplify is the sound quality. LDAC and Aptx HD sound great. However, the battery life is short. When you connect Amplify to your smartphone, you can see how much battery life you have left. Although the accuracy is not great. I've had numerous instances where the battery life would hover at 50% and die after a few minutes. The clip case is also not very well designed and the Amplify falls out easily. Overall, I give Amplify 4 stars for its excellent sound quality.

The Missing Link is the Best in Home Theater

Just received it so this is not a full review. But I have to tell you that for so many people this is just for the best. There are mountains of great wired headphones that pair beautifully with Bluetooth for this device. Built-in DAC, easy-to-use controls and very small size make it perfect. The sound of my Grado SR-80s is excellent. It paired with my iPad Air 3 in seconds. I also tried it with my Kindle Fire HD10 and it's great. I have to run this house longer, but I'm very happy with it…

Insufficient headphone gain; You need a separate amplifier.

It didn't work on the Sennheiser HD600, on the Grado SR60 the bass is muddy. The Sennheiser is difficult to control and usually requires a different amp; Grado is easy to manage and control from your phone. I compared it to EarStudio ES100. The Auris sound is low key, muddy and overall limited. With the ES100, everything on the Sennheiser is good except for the bass; Grado is amazing on Grado. If you have another device and have the patience to put a lot of things together, you can get good…

Outstanding sound quality.

This has to be the most impressive DAC I have ever heard, great battery life and excellent customer service. I'm using IE 800 S and switching my Galaxy S10 to Amplify is the difference between day and night. First off, the portability is impressive for the sound quality you get. It might be a little wider than other models of the same device type, but that's a no-brainer for what you're getting. By the way, some complain that their LDAC settings are set to quality and they stutter. I think…

  • Trade-in

At first I couldn't get reliable sound output. At the time of review, it works fine. My Notes.1. Some audio quality issues with Sony LDAC.2 Bluetooth device. The USB-C cable charges only. It would be great if it could be used as a sound processor preamp from a computer. Hopefully the software will be available for USB connected audio processing applications in the future. I was pleased with the specifications of the DAC. Tried to return for a refund. I currently have it. I hope that software…

Definitely worth it if you can set the default BT quality settings.

Definitely a good little product. Using the LG V20 with Sprint, the audio quality is definitely at fidelity levels when compared to the V20's onboard 32-bit DAC via the AudioTechnica Ath-m40x and Sennheiser HD599. The output volume of the V20 is a bit higher, but otherwise everything is the same. Auris currently uses it as a Bluetooth connection to a portable speaker system, and while there's never been an issue connecting to a person, there's a noticeable difference in connectivity…

For example, you have to return to the drawing board several times.

I had high hopes for this product based on the specs and design, but unfortunately it disappointed me more than I expected, which I should have known better as it hardly featured in the Indegogo campaign without Reviews came out somewhere, but well, that's life. This is my third time using a bluetooth amplifier and compared to the FiiO BTR3 and EarStudio I just can't recommend it to anyone unless they rate the sound quality compared to everyday use. PROS: - Amazing sound, the AK4377a is a big…
