Awesome spreader lights for 43' sailboat

I've tried 4 other "marine" spreader lights and they all leaked/broke after 4 months. So far, 1 month, these are awesome . so much brighter than other lights I've tried and should not leak (since they are made for under the water and I installed them 25 feet above the waterline). Will give an update after more time goes by.

Great buy! good for me

Worked perfectly out of the box! Only thing I'd change is the screws. They're not that good. Easily stripped out one when installing. Removed the screw and used heavier stainless screws.

BS5 Is the one to get

Ok don't bother with the BS2 or the BS4 models. They will leak and short internally on the first overnight trip on the boat. I was hesitant to try the new model but decided screw it. I was really impressed. SO FAR.I took the boat out on the ocean for a 3 night stay and they still appear to be water tight. The BS5 is BRIGHT! the pictures are with 1 BS5 and I bs4 that still half works (didn't realize bs5 are sold individually) I ordered the second bs5 to replace the shorted bs4 so double the…

after first use under water it leaked salt water and started to rust

after it's first use the sealed lights took in water and started to rust, again this is after it's first use, purchased the lights because they mention it's life time warranty for leakage trying to have them replaced no way of contacting the seller to request a replacement, do not throw away your money

Install is key to performance

I keep reading they are not that bright under water. You also need to understand you didn't spend $400 on a light. Also what are the water visibility and how do you have the light directed? If you want to see them under water you better make sure they are pointing any direction but down. The other issue I read is they don't light up the wake. The key to doing that is easy. Try and make sure 10% of the light is above the water line on WOT. I have mind mounted so a portion of the light is not…

Amazing product good for me

I bought these for fishing I was a little skeptical but I've been wanting lights for the back of my boat for a while now I decided to bite the bullet and try them best thing I ever did I can see the fish on the line 12 feet away from my boat reeling the fish in at night buy these you will be very happy

Very bright underwater light

I purchased this for a bait well and it is very bright and seems to be well made. I have two more on my offshore boat that I mounted on my trim tabs and they are still working and the light output doesn’t seem to have diminished at all. Money well spent so far

Very Cool! on my review.

This thing puts out a ton of light, was easy to install, and I would definitely buy again. UPGRADED IP68+ WATERPROOF ➤ 30M water depth aging without any leakage. The latest triple waterproof design: PCB waterproof coating, high temperature resistant waterproof glue, and super hard rubber seal on the back cover.! Wire in parrallel, not series.

Ok product for my opinion

The light really isnt as bright as the photos on here. I works kind of has a nice glow. Two might make it look like the picture

tested -> puts out about 300 lumens at 12v. very dim light.

not as described. at 12 volts, current is .29 amps. watts = 3.5 watts, which is equivalent to approx 300 lumens. not nearly as bright as described. it is much dimmer than a typical light bulb. for underwater use, as much brighter LED setup is needed.

They work great! on my review.

I used these lights underwater in the pool. They light up the entire pool at night. Just 4 of them. Have them wired to an auto battery that charges during the day with a solar panel and with a photocell that automatically turns them on and off. LOve em

Marine Lights good for me

I plan to put them on the back of my boat under the water, we haven't installed them yet. The only problem is it doesn't tell you how to connect to power. I wish it had better instructions.

happy with purchase!

Awesome lights put the two underwater and have no leaks or water intrusion! I do trailer my boat and maybe left it in the water for a max of 48 hours. Very bright easy to work with. I do recommend not using factory screws i bought stainless steel to prevent future headaches. Pictures to come soon.

Junk do not buy - my new review

They are not waterproof they leak! Installed on my boat within a month they leaked and shorted out! See picture money wasted!
