I really liked these shoes and have had them for four months now. The reason I gave it two stars is because the sole on my right boot started to fall apart and I only wear it to work.

This shoe is exactly how Bates describes it. I had to contact them to find out how to fit the internal moving shock absorber. Once I got it in the right position it was great. That's what they call ICS technology. I just wanted all her shoes to be like this.

I am completely satisfied with this work shoe. On your feet all day, there were no problems with comfort and spaciousness. They're almost like work boots for tennis shoes and that's exactly what I was looking for. My feet are pretty rough in shoes because I have flat feet but so far I feel great in these shoes. Worth the price they were bought for.

These are durable shoes. I'm wide but I have a narrow foot. I broke it pretty quickly after walking a few miles. Overall I would recommend them.

Ordered at the end of May, received on June 1st. Not satisfied with the processing. After 3 weeks of use only at work, 1 boot creaks and the other one falls apart at the front. Tried replacing with Revane. No exchange or return was possible, since June 29th is the last day, nothing could be done about the return. On vacation and only contacted Revine on July 15th. They said to contact Bates directly.

Good product. I bought these shoes to use at the 5 day show where I will be standing on concrete. Show in Las Vegas in July. My review will be more valuable after the event, but the shoes are comfortable. Let's see if they hold up as expected in July 2015.

I've only been wearing these shoes for about a week but so far so good. Very handy right out of the box. No time to roll. Just put on and go. Not sure about the adjustable heel counter. Mine sometimes makes a clicking noise so I might need to double check. Overall I think Bates has a winner with this shoe. Time will tell how it will hold up to everyday wear and tear.

Bought for my husband who runs on concrete all day. He says these are the best shoes he's worn in years. Almost got rid of his hips/back and his legs are much happier! Just ordered him a second pair for backups!

I've just started wearing these shoes for the last 3 days and am very surprised by the 12 3E, the fit and comfort are great for the first few days and I will buy them again if they continue to be so comfortable. shoes and no need with these shoes so far. will be updated in the near future, build quality will be visible as my first pair was replaced due to a defect.

The shoes themselves fit very well and are comfortable. My problem is not comfort but quality. I would have expected more from Bates. I bought and received the shoes on June 5th. I rotate for FLDOC and have worn the boots 7 times. I am returning the items on June 23rd as the outsole is already starting to fall apart. I would have no hesitation in buying these shoes unless you are willing to keep some shoe slime handy and not walk around all day.

Great shoes especially if you have narrow or high (high) feet! With a gel pad I can lose my corrective orthotics and still walk and run stably!

These would be 4-5 star shoes but they don't last long. I used to have Bates boots, but I don't remember them wearing out that quickly. I bought it on December 3rd, 2014. The soles are completely gone - there is no more tread and they are starting to separate from the bottom of the shoe. I only wear them 40 hours a week and although I occasionally walk on hot pavement I'm a manager so I don't have to get out of my car or office too often and I don't work overtime. I've just ordered a second pair of these shoes - I've had my first pair for 3.5 years now and the lugs on the sole have finally flattened out. The best thing for me is the ICS sockliner, which allows you to adjust stiffness and supination/pronation. My first shoes with an ICS disc were ankle boots with zippers. Comfortable shoes. They were bought as summer shoes for police work in the field. Only time will tell if it was a good buy or a mistake. Will be updated later.

They creak when I walk. I tried everything to stop them. Maybe they will stop over time. It's too expensive to have this problem.

This shoe felt good right away and felt good every day. An adjustable insole is great if you know what you need in your fit. I would recommend this shoe as a beautiful Christmas tree and great looking shoe.

The shoes are of good quality. The insoles are not very good. The blue gel inserts came off the insole after two weeks of wear. The shoes are very comfortable.
