Really soft but weird lumps all over the place?

I love the look of this yarn, it's perfect for the project I'm working on. However, while working with the ball of yarn, I've noticed three times that there are really weird, rough, sticky lumps everywhere. I know it's not my fault as I pulled the thread off the center so it should have been sent to me that way. I have no idea what it could be.

I love this yarn! for yarn

In some reviews I noticed that this yarn is difficult to work with due to the texture, but there were no difficulties. I use a Q crochet hook on a baby blanket and have had no trouble getting past the back row. I can see where this will be difficult if you are working on a small project that requires complex stitches. I love the colors and the texture is the softest I've seen. Was a bit disappointed when I could find the same yarn for 1/3 the price at Walmart, but by the time I saw this I had…

Amazingly soft and soft

This yarn is definitely something to work with - you can't see your stitches so you have to feel and approximate it. I give this yarn a 4 instead of a 5 because of this difficulty, and it's almost impossible to break if you make a mistake. However, this yarn is not suitable for clothing or anything that requires accurate sizing. However, it is great for knitted toys and if you double it with a finer yarn like dk weight it's a little easier to work with. Toys will be incredibly soft and fluffy…

Great product, the color is different than I thought.

I love this yarn for knitting baby hats! The nature of this yarn makes it very difficult to pick up skipped or purl stitches, but because it's so fluffy it's also very forgiving. I recommend using it for fairly basic ridges, but it will give you a very soft and sweet result! It's quite stretchy so keep that in mind when choosing your pattern size. My only complaint about this is that the yarn appears light yellow on my monitor but is actually light green. Although very nice. Pros: Soft, pretty,

love this yarn! Best in Knitting and Crochet

I bought this to make a little polar bear hat for my new grandson and I love it! I know some people have mentioned that this yarn is difficult to work with, but apart from the first row I had no problems. I simply knitted the hat in garter stitch and it turned out great. I think the simpler the stitch the better - probably not suitable for cables etc. The rail is incredibly soft and glides over the needles. I'm sure you can make a knitted little animal for a child out of it! Manufacturers also…

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Available in white only

I just LOVE this yarn. I made this a blanket for my son before he was born and now years later he still never goes anywhere without it. It's easy to use, perfectly soft yet easy to clean without falling apart. Not to mention he drags it through hell and back every day and it's never fallen apart. I would give it 5 stars without a doubt, but I recently bought this yarn when we were having a panic day because the blanks were missing for hours and I figured I'd make some reserves just in case…

Very soft and fun but maybe not for beginners

I love how soft this yarn is! It's very similar to a cloud, and the blur makes it such that the stitches aren't even visible. I like the way it looks but it makes it so you can't see your stitches while you work. I use it for crocheting so I can't speak for knitters but it's not as difficult for me to work with as some people think. You just have to count your stitches and rows as you go and use your stitch markers because you really can't go back and count after they're done. I wouldn't…

  • Great for a small home

  • A dubious purchase for seniors

Presents a confusing problem

I've only knitted half a dozen projects so far so I'm new to knitting. This is my first time working with this yarn. If you are also a beginner, this yarn presents some challenges that I have not encountered before. Because it's so fluffy it can be difficult to see the stitches when knitting, and inside the fluff is a core of about three white threads that make up the core of the yarn - it's pretty easy (or at least it was for me). between the three white threads and from time to time bring at…
