I LOVE these shoes! I work part time in a deli and after 10 hours the other shoes are terrible and my feet hurt. They are amazing like every other pair of Berks I own, a bit heavy but with a steel toe cap that's to be expected. Worth the wait from Germany!

Worth a break.

These are my work shoes. This is my second pair in 8 years. As a professional chef, these shoes are almost as important to me as my knife set. It takes a few weeks to stretch and adjust. Then they are all-wheel drive in the kitchen. Will not slip or slide in grease or mopping water. My oldest pair are still used as garden clogs. Remember to take four hour breaks a day for the first week and gradually wear more each day.

These "fit as expected" because I already knew how they fit. My first pair, which was the same size as the Birki clogs, was too tight at the top of the foot. So I chose size 43. Satisfied with the purchase

The rubber on these shoes is definitely very hard. I have big (wide/tall, not long) feet so the warm-up was quite painful, but for someone with smaller feet it might not be that bad. The break has lasted me a good month but I love the fact that they are easy to clean (then they can go in the dishwasher) and that they have the famous Birkenstock insole which is great for those of us who spend all the time. day at work. They are very well constructed and I can say this pair will last a lot longer
