Great sound and great features for the money - all in a very compact size.

We bought this to replace a Sony boombox that was around 20 years old and didn't support modern features like USB and Bluetooth. Here in Florida we often sit by the pool at night and listen to music. This model is much smaller than the old one, but the sound is much better, and it's nice that you can play MP3 files from your smartphone or flash drive. Our only suggestion for Sony is to add a remote control and backlit display. Otherwise it's great!

All the connections you need and clean, clear sound!

This thing is compact, lightweight and has all the ins and outs you need to keep you satisfied. I use the headphone output to connect my Fishman Solo amp and it does the job perfectly. I really like the Bluetooth feature and I use the USB port to record or play music. This thing is SUPER! I was really impressed with such a decent sound coming from such a small device. I bought this tape recorder based on reviews. I bought it refurbished for recording and I understand there are risks. My ghetto blaster was a hit. Unit stopped working after a month, just in time to miss a return to Revain. His controls no longer worked reliably. CD playback stops abruptly and the PLAY function is disabled. When restarting, all buttons are disabled. Changing a CD or inserting another leaves the device READING indefinitely, the radio button does nothing. Power cycling sometimes restores the RADIO, but the CD button still does NOT start the CD spinning (while the stupid status window claims it's READING). Sometimes it will…

. In this case? you guessed! Two fingers down! The CD player does not work right out of the box. And I mean ZERO, nothing, Deadsville, no matter what kind of CD. When I say immaculate I mean if you want to fill a small to medium sized room with sound that is totally FLAT and DEAD at 3/4 volume then this is the perfect little stereo for you.
