Description of BriskHeat SDC120KC Benchtop Temperature Controller

SDC bench top temperature controller has a temperature control range of 0 to 600 degrees C (32 to 999 degrees F) with a Celsius display scale; voltage of 98 to 132VAC with a 10-amp fused output. Includes a 5ft (1.5m) factory installed Type-K thermocouple sensor. 120VAC unit comes with a 5ft (1.5m) input power cord with a NEMA 5-15 plug, and a 5ft (1.5m) output power cord with a NEMA 5-15R receptacle. Upper and lower limits of the set point can be adjusted by using a single key; hysteresis is adjustable between 1 and 20 degrees. Easy-to-use programmable digital controller is self-contained with a plug-and-play design and is compatible with a wide range of heaters and applications.

Do not buy this Temperature Controller!

This product is a complete waste of money! Industrial and Scientific? I dont think so! Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice I can confidently say that this device is extremely unreliable and inconsistent .THE only pro is that it looks nice. However, its cons are endless starting from poor functionality, inaccurate temperature readings, and constant calibration issues. Overall, i would not recommend this Temperature Controller to anyone. Save your time and money and choose an alternative…

Efficient Temperature Control Solution!

Industrial and Scientific application made easy with this reliable temperature controller .After I put it to the test, I was impressed with its accuracy, responsiveness, and user-friendliness. It also saved me time and effort with its programmable features. The only downside is that it may not be budget-friendly for small businesses..

Could they have complicated the temperature setting - I would say NO

Incredibly complicated method for set point, three calls to support and even they didn't know how to set the set point (until the third call). "Come on dude, pull yourself together." . So once you've finally figured out how to set up the unit, the number of steps to changing the setpoints (temperature) is simply amazing. If I hadn't spent $270 on it I would have thrown it in the trash (maybe where it belongs).
