Perfect for my music equipment where constant clean power is needed.

I play live regularly and don't always have a power source on stage so I needed some longer cables. These fit the bill perfectly! The solid, heavy construction holds up to any abuse I can take and it keeps coming back. I play gigs in a wide range of environments, from small bars to large open air festivals, so having a clean and reliable power supply is not only a plus but also an advantage. to need. These cables run through again and again. I plan to buy a few more, in different lengths. I…

High quality and securely packaged.

Excellent, high quality cables. I use them to repair guitar amps and other electronics by cutting off the IEC connector and stripping the wires inside. I've used 18GA cables before, which I also bought from Revain, but they were of lower quality compared to these 16GA cables. The inside of these cables is coated with a powdered substance that makes it easy to remove the black insulation. This cable is strong and very well packaged in a thick outer pouch that is used in conjunction with another…

Musicians Rejoice - updated after 2 years

I'm a bass player. I help set up the drums, wait for both guitarists to set up, and then set up. For years I struggled with drum kits and guitar amps, trying to find a good place for me to actually reach an outlet. Pick them up and the fight stopped. I've only recently got them so can't confirm their durability, but they seem to be quite thick - much thicker than a regular power cord. Also, it's great to have a 15-foot power cord. I can put myself almost anywhere on a small stage and have no…

Updated after cable change.

Initially I had problems with cables as below but after contacting support I was easily replaced. The new cables fit great and work as expected on my Vesa monitors. .--Old Review--I bought these for my VESA mount monitors for better cable management, but the female end you plug into the monitor doesn't fit tight enough so they come loose when you move the monitors . I also noticed a slight arcing noise when trying to get the cables better. So don't risk your monitors with longer but cheaper…

They come in handy.: Power Cord

My desktop is ready for another major update after moving house and returning home to Lost Wages. They were part of about version 1.5, purchased in combination with backlighting (see review for details) and reconfiguration of 2 desktops. It was a lot of work moving the table, cleaning it, adding light and lengthening it. Cables serve a purpose: Managing cables with longer cables can be extremely useful. If they are long enough, they can be carefully hidden behind various objects and barriers…

Do not buy they don't fit well with standard computer/monitor plugs

I don't know what's wrong with them, I just got them today and found they don't fit my monitor very well . They're loose and/or don't go all the way in, so if you wiggle the cord, the monitor loses power. I used to have one cable and even had a few others lying around to make sure it wasn't my monitor and they fit snugly and are snug. The monitor stays on even if you move the cables. I just need the length of these new ones I got here so I can raise my desk to stand while I work. But it doesn't

Exactly what you need.

I've bought about 50 of these over the last few years. I am selling used music production equipment and have a frequent need for these types of power cords, either for my own use or to complement the equipment I sell. They are very strong, durable, thick and always work perfectly, every time. Ideal for use with studio monitors, audio interfaces, synthesizers, mixers, DJ equipment. etc. They seem to me to be of better build quality than most original power cords that come with new equipment…

Quality IEC cable in a very comfortable length!

These are excellent quality IEC cords and much more convenient in length than the cheap short cords often supplied with ADJ or Chauvet lights. As a mobile DJ, we plug and unplug our gear on a daily basis. OEM cables usually show visible wear and, in our opinion, often fail too quickly. These heavy gauge cables have high quality molded connectors and are good for everyday use, yet offer the flexibility to reel on and off multiple times without tangling. The 15 foot length allows us to run cables

Pros
  • Rugged NEMA-IEC safety cord with standard NEMA 15 5P grounded power plug and 3-pin jacketed IEC 320 C13 plug; SJT 13A/300V nominal
