This is a coaxial cable.

As long as the company is reasonably competent/respectful it's hard to screw up (as is the HDMI cable quality). They do exactly what it says on the tin. Useful when you need to position the antenna on the other side of the house/closer to a window to improve the signal.

This solved my internet problem.

My cable internet keeps going up and down. I saw on a forum that the modem has a secret IP address (192.168.100.1) to see what happens to it and there were errors. For this I replaced a thin one, probably bundled with some kind of TV cable. Now the internet works great! A good cable connection not only ensures a good TV picture.

Good price F-pin coax

Good price. Passed it through the subway where the cable company brought the RG-11 into my house to complete the transition to my router. It was too long for my needs so I cut off one end and put another compression F connector on top. I subscribe to 400Mbps internet service and a Google Nest router whose wife keeps telling me I'm getting 400+ on the router so it seems to be streaming perfectly.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Fits the bill, grabbed some short RG6 cables and didn't want to mess with the manufacturing. They come in a variety of lengths at a reasonable price and appear to be well made. Cables' like me, I suggest that you use RG6 coaxial cable instead of RG59 coaxial cable for antennas and connections. RG6 is better shielded and therefore less susceptible to interference from cell phone and other electronic signals.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Great price great cable

This is a review of Cable Matters 3 Pack CL2 (RG6 Cable/Coax) Black I recently wall mounted my HDTV and didn't have a short RG6 cable so I ordered these in a 3 pack as I have two other HDTVs. It was the perfect solution. I'm glad I ordered 3ft instead of 1.5ft as the shorter length really wouldn't give me enough freedom to adjust the viewing angle and height of the HDTV. The 3ft length was perfect. The cable seems great.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Blank

These cables look very nice and don't add much loss to my marginal antenna system. I have a long run from my Tivo and Smart TV to my antenna. I'm at the edge of my reception, so any insertion loss from patch cords, connectors, splitters, signal boosters, etc. will cause problems. These short RG6 cables are perfect for my needs as they hardly affect the performance of my digital system.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some cons

If you're like me you always need a short coax cable to connect your products. It is possible to make your own coax ends, but the factory ones always look much cleaner, sharper and always fit perfectly. And if you're like me, you're never short on cord. a piece just for these connections. It also has an RG6 rating. This is the default rating that seems most appropriate for wired connections. Each of them worked without any problems. Saves me a lot of trouble cutting short lengths of wire andโ€ฆ

These are high quality cables and they are great value too.

These CL2 Quad Shielded RG6 Coax Cables 3 Pack from Matters were just what I needed to solve a problem I was having with a pair of over-the-air ducts. The problem was with two channels that we could only receive intermittently. I have two directional antennas on the roof of our house and I've combined them with a feedthrough splitter/combiner and a Radio Shack preamp. The antennas were delivered with RG59 cables. I replaced 2 RG59 cables with these Cable Matters quad shield RG6 cables and notโ€ฆ

1 of 3 cables just didn't work

My package arrived with the expected 3 cables in a sturdy box with no damage. All three cables stated that they were tested to 3 GHz. I chose the prettiest of the 3 as 2 cables were slightly crimped at the ends as they were wrapped in loops. Well, after about 3 hours of debugging my internet connection (after changing the cable that goes to my cable modem) I noticed that the cable I chose was reducing the signal significantly! The specification for a cable modem typically calls for a minimum of
