Great build quality and very good performance for this price

Great quality for the price. Powerful enough for tire/break work for DIY even with a pancake compressor. Tried Powryte wrench but did not have any power and didn't work right. Got this instead and was crossing my fingers. Didn't want to go high-end for just DIY car work, and was surprised how well it works. Reverse only has one speed, but location and type of speed selector is very well designed. Bit hefty and noisy, but doesn't vibrate too much and has a comfortable handle for quick DIY work.

Pros
  • The sturdy composite design creates a long-lasting durable tool so you can complete job after job with confidence.
Cons
  • Poor balance, causing discomfort and affecting the user's handling and grip

Great value, glad I bought it.

Used this for casual stuff (lugnuts, frozen bolts etc.) for awhile, but recently had to do wheel bearings on the car, and had to use one of those screw type bearing press kits that everybody uses on Youtube. There is NO way I could have done that job without this impact wrench. I could barely budge the breaker bar trying to pop out the old bearings. Simple stuck nuts and stuff aren't a big deal, but that job required a huge amount of air, and my 20 gallon compressor could barely keep up, but I…

Pros
  • Reliable performance every time
Cons
  • Can cause damage to the user's hands and fingers due to torque and vibration

Update. I've been using this impact for a few years now, and I'm still impressed with this impact wrench. I used it to remove an axle nut that was torqued to 242 ft/lbs. Use short burst and it will eventually remove the nut. Great buy.I bought this impact wrench because I wasn't happy with the Craftsman impact wrench i had. This one is relatively inexpensive and powerful enough to remove lug nuts with a small compressor.

Pros
  • Built to last with quality materials
Cons
  • May not be compatible with some types of sockets and adapters

What a delight - my new review

As opposed to removing lug nuts with a hand spinner wrench.the struggle to get the nut backed off is tough and as one ages the challenge increases.this air powered impact wrench is a delight. I found that oiling through the very small hole below the shaft can readily be done with a 14 ga. blunt needle syringe--something Ebay.com sells. Weight out 1/4 oz. of oil in the syringe, inject into the hole.

Pros
  • Universal socket fitting for convenience
Cons
  • Requires a certain level of strength and endurance to operate efficiently

Not sure on Durability yet but it passed it's first test

Feels like a solid tool and was able to quickly remove then reinstall the lugs on my truck. My old impact wrench really struggled with lug nuts so I had to break them loose with a lug wrench first then use it, but the CH unit popped them right off. The really tight ones took a couple seconds for it to break free but you could tell it was budging them little by little at first, then they flew off. I'm sure there are better impact wrenches out there but I can't imagine any being better for the…

Pros
  • 90-day return policy if not satisfied
Cons
  • Limited mobility due to the air hose attached to it

Exactly What I was Hoping for!

First and foremost - this impact driver was $50. FIFTY LOUSY DOLLARS! Therefore, negative reviewers, there are almost NO grounds to complain if it doesn't work perfectly - or even well.On my first use this thing blew my mind! I have a Ryobi One+ 18V cordless impact driver rated at 100 ft lbs. I love the thing dearly and have put it through things it should never have been put through in two hard years of use. It has never complained, but it only puts out 100 ft lbs of torque. I have been…

Pros
  • Qualifies for free shipping
Cons
  • Can cause damage to the threading if not used carefully

Worked Better than I Expected

I was a little iffy based on some reviews but took the plunge anyways and the product exceeded my expectations, works flawlessly removing lug nuts. I made sure to remove all 4 tires just to be sure it was not a hit and miss. The manufacturer recommends using a compressor with a tank capacity of 8 gallons or higher, I used a 6 gallon capacity tank, they recommend not using a quick connector, I use a quick connector and even so it removed the lug nuts effortlessly, I even used it on a friends car

Pros
  • Quiet operation compared to other impact wrenches
Cons
  • Requires a lot of effort and energy to control in tight spaces
