I liked it very much! good for sets

This set is PERFECT for the beginner. It didn't take long and the directions were short and sweet. I had to look up how to melt it because there weren't any specific instructions. Otherwise it was easy! The jars were cute and worked great as gifts or samples.

Availability For new candle makers

This is amazing. Everything super cute! Also, it had so many things in it that I could even use a soap spoon. I also tried not to use oils as they can be bad for the soap! And the candle jars are adorable! I highly recommend playing around with the lids that go with which jar because I've found my favorite combinations (as pictured). Everything came as ordered, but as other reviewers have pointed out, there are dents on some of the lids. That's to be expected with this type of material, but it…

Edit: If you're looking for a fun arts and crafts activity to do with kids because this pandemic is boring you and your kids to death, this set might work. However, if you are serious about learning about candle making, just go straight to candle making websites. There are tons. One star because I still use a thermometer and a small jug (to melt a small amount of wax for testing). The rest was stored, including oils. Overall a good set

Pros Has a decent selection of essential oils. The lenses are good, with additional lenses that also look great. The kit includes everything you need: a crucible, wick centering tools, wicks and glued pads, even a mixing spoon. There's also a temperature dipstick, I really found it unnecessary, but if you want to follow the directions all the way to the letter T, this helps with that. Cons: Instructions, measurement instructions were clearly translated from another language and not well ported.

The quality of every item in this kit is below basement... You'll have to replace everything

update. So now I've made some candles and bought various wax wicks etc. This hate kit will be the worst quality ever. To be honest, the wax you use when you're done will make your candles look frosty because it's the cheapest wax. The wicks are of poor quality, the jars arrive dented. And the pouring picture they give you is basically what you would see at Starbucks when they heat the milk. It's small and pretty useless, spilling everywhere.
