A wonderful product, its nice to use.

Before buying a DSLR, I never held it in my hands. This camera opened the world of photography for me, I will never regret buying it. At one time there was a choice between Canon and Nikon (the parameters are the same + -), I don’t regret that I chose Canon, I can’t compare these two companies, since I don’t often hold Nikon in my hands, but when I take it, I get lost in the menu, and I can’t do elementary things (switch aperture, increase / decrease shutter speed), but this is more a matter of

Pros
  • Image quality Swivel screen Convenient button layout Convenient menu, a couple of clicks and you're done Huge variety of Canon lenses Fits comfortably in the hand Does not slow down, never gave any failures for more than a year of use Works in any weather and in winter in cold -25 and in heat +30 and even in rain and snow Reliable, never failed, even the battery never sat down right at the right moment.
Cons
  • I didn’t find it for a year of use, although in spring and summer the pictures sometimes seemed overexposed or vice versa dark, although this was more likely due to the fact that it was very sunny and the colors were poorly visible on the screen, since the pictures were mostly good on the computer and the shadows .

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

In general, a solid 4. For a budget DSLR, it’s very good. It’s definitely worth taking from 18-135, since 18-55 is nothing at all, with such optics (18-55) the pictures will be like those of a top-end soap dish, and the weight and price are coo-but more. And then, if you grow, 18-55 will only gather dust on the shelf, when 18-135 can be sold at half price and buy a decent set of filters.

Pros
  • Good ergonomics, fits perfectly in the hand. Ease of settings, informative screen. Batteries are enough for a couple of days of active shooting (700-1 tons of shots without flare)
Cons
  • Perhaps the main thing that caught my eye was the flimsy handle (where the release button is), it creaks if you change the force on the hand. In general, I would rate the case 5 for ergonomics and build quality, but this moment is very annoying. Moreover, in our family there are two such carcasses, both have this drawback. Autofocus is dull if you switch to focus mode on the screen, it is impossible to quickly capture anything. For me, the viewfinder is so dark and small, and the lack of a horizon and poorly distinguishable focus illumination points should be added to the minus of the viewfinder, you have to look closely or focus again. On the same d3000 (from a friend) there are no such problems. The viewfinder as a whole is 3 compared to the same Nikon. Built-in puff, sense = 0, it will be possible to get something more than illuminated "faces" on a black background. It seems to me that it is time to remove these wonderful flashlights, from more or less decent technology, and leave them on "superzooms". Moreover, a decent puff can already be taken in the region of $ 100.

Very high quality product, it's not the first time I bought it.

They write here that whale lenses do not provide proper quality - in my opinion this is not so. I tried different ones, both whale ones and not - the quality of the photos is almost indistinguishable (in the opinion of an amateur, not a professional, although I have been photographing for more than 30 years). Photography, it seems to me, is not a search for aberrations in the resulting images, but the composition and idea of the frame. This camera fully justifies this goal for such a price.

Pros
  • 1. Very high quality photos both in terms of sharpness and color reproduction. 2. The ability to quickly apply settings and take pictures by choosing the most suitable ones. 3. Rotary display. 4. With an additional battery pack and batteries in it (6 pieces for 2700), you can forget about charging during a month of work (~ 50 photos per day). 5. The presence of a large number of accessories. 6. Lenses from old SLR cameras are suitable (through an adapter ring). 7. Not very heavy weight. 8. Good camera design. 9. Simple and clear menu.
Cons
  • Until I noticed.

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

just a chic DSLR for a beginner! adequate machine gun, better than Nikon in everything! friendly, build quality is on top, I bought a fix 50 1.8, shooting at night is just a fairy tale! the whale lens is normal, you need to buy a flash because the aperture ratio is too small, everything is gorgeous on a bright day, the video is trash) don’t take the 550d! the swivel screen is just a plague! shoot from top to bottom is very cool

Pros
  • rotary screen ergonomics gorgeous video!
Cons
  • no

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

I was lucky with my salary that year and decided to buy myself a SLR camera for a serious passion for photography. Chose between 550D and 600D. As a result, I took the 600D because of the swivel screen, although, as it turned out later, it and others have advantages. I don’t almost regret buying it (although I could save up and take 60D). For a beginner photographer, this device is very suitable. I took it with a Kingston 32GB Class 10 flash drive, which I advise you. Stores about 1000 frames…

Pros
  • Lightweight - even with a kit lens, it is relatively light. Convenient - sits in the hand like a glove! Non-slip thanks to rubber pads. Rotatable display - not only does it rotate (which is convenient when shooting video), but also the image quality on it is excellent. A convenient menu in which everything is located and switched quickly and without leaving the viewfinder. Compared with Nikon - heaven and earth! Nikon has no menu, but some kind of dense forest, but there is nothing superfluous and everything is as simple and accessible as possible. For an amateur DSLR, the picture quality is very good. I printed my photos in size 40x30 - amazing quality! The battery charge lasts for a long time. Filmed an event using an external flash in RAW mode - 1000 frames and not a single hint of a battery drain. There are only three divisions: a large one and two small ones. So, when the big one disappears, the small ones then sit down faster. And in my case, everything was displayed. Working ISO 800 (if you use the full frame size) and 1600 (if you reduce the size). You can shoot at 3200. For the Internet and viewing on a computer, quite suitable photographs are obtained. For an amateur SLR camera, I think it's quite a good value. In certain cases, I advise you to set AUTO ISO, because instead of 3200 it can set a value between 1600 and 3200, which is very pleasing! Convenient button layout. Everything, as I already wrote, is at hand.
Cons
  • Personally, as an amateur photographer with about a year of experience, I don’t even have anything to complain about.

Great product, a pleasure to use.

The initial camera that opens the world of DSLRs. Given the possibility of changing optics, in general a fairy tale. Before her, I had a super-zoom, from which I grew up in about half a year. I have had the same DSLR for over a year, and so far its capabilities exceed mine. A whale lens will do for beginners, then, if you wish, you can choose another one, since there are a lot of them, at least put Soviet ones. But, to be honest, I don’t use the camera very often, due to being busy, but I can…

Pros
  • Relatively low price. I don’t remember exactly, but I paid more than 20 thousand for a whale, that is, for a carcass and an 18-55 lens.
Cons
  • Found just one flaw. When the camera is running low, it only talks about it at the last moment. You take a picture, or you shoot a video, the charge indicator shows two divisions. And then once, and immediately red and blinking. But this teaches you to keep the battery always at the ready, thus it even turns into a kind of dignity)

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

The choice was between Nikon and Sony. Canon did not want to take at all. But just after looking at hundreds of photos on the internet, I realized that I like photos from Canon. I never thought that I would take Canon, but I did. Why? Yes, simply because there is life in Canon, that unique color reproduction that enlivens the picture. If you approach from those sides, then we can say that with good glass and a flash, this camera will surprise you with super photos. But this is nonsense, it also

Pros
  • The quality of the photo, the color reproduction is pleasing to the eye, the video recording is at a high level. Even on a whale, you can take decent photos that are not inferior in quality to more expensive models.
Cons
  • Is that noise, in poor lighting and raised iso. But all cameras are guilty of this. It is worth understanding that all cameras need light for high-quality photos.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Great camera! I took it as the next step after a semi-professional soap dish. The shooting process gives great pleasure, the quality of the pictures after my previous Sonya is heaven and earth, of course :) I chose, like many, between 550d and 600d. I took 600d because of the swivel screen - a really handy thing! I advise you to take with a lens 18-135. Autofocus often misses, for this is really a "minus". The sound of the video is disgusting, but it's not a video camera, so this is my nitpick,

Pros
  • - ease of management -all buttons are in place - relatively light weight -screen - hints for beginners -battery life
Cons
  • - autofocus

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

In any case, I would buy 50mm f1.8 for the 18-55 kit. If you have more money, look at zooms with f2.8 aperture and, preferably, stabilizer. Keep in mind that prime lenses are almost always better than zoom lenses in terms of image quality. You may need an external flash, I recommend with E-TTL support and a swivel head (puff into walls and ceilings). This crop is the best for the price, models like 60-70d are better in grip and easier to control, model 100d is the most compact. If price…

Pros
  • Matrix, as in more expensive Canon devices, at a great price. One of the best options as the first DSLR. Any DSLR in most parameters is better than mirrorless devices like canon eos M, samsung, etc. This device will leave you money for lenses, and this is much more important than the carcass itself.
Cons
  • The 18-55 whale lens is soapy, especially in the corners. A good 18-55 IS STM glass appeared, quite sharp (see the photAmazon dot de site, there is a mtf table). If you buy 50mm f1.8 for 18-55 IS STM, then you can shoot professional quality and content shots in almost all genres, except for macro or where a telephoto is needed. Let the site 35 photo dot ru motivate you, where masterpieces are shot on a whale (learn photography, camera settings and shoot in RAW + Lightroom or Photoshop). For video, 18-55stm is also great thanks to the stabilizer, but autofocus in video is only needed if you don’t want to bother, a higher level is to shoot in manual focus mode, magic lantern will help with this. STM is supported in devices starting from 650d, 60d, 100d.

Not a bad purchase, worth the money.

Canon 600D bought somewhere in October 2022. ) uhhh, what a cool one he is) I have been using the photo for more than half a year. I watched a video about it, read the instructions, set it up well, figured it out and quickly took a picture. The quality of the photos, the shooting of the video, everything is perfect. This camera opens up so many possibilities and the photos turn out great and it’s comfortable to take pictures. take Nikon D5100 or Nikon D90. Both models are good, and on both I…

Pros
  • 1) Light in weight; 2) Very easy to use, easy menu and easy to understand it; 3) Swivel screen (great thing); 4) High-quality and very beautiful photos are obtained, the video also shoots well ! 5) The price is good . It's not very expensive in itself, but it's worth the money.
Cons
  • Particularly large shortcomings and why, let’s say, it’s not worth buying, I don’t see it in it) And as far as I am a beginner and 600D I have the first long-awaited hardening, then all the more I will not find any shortcomings in it !

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything about the product satisfied me, the price is perfect.

You just need to learn how to use the standard modes and hold your hand firmly when shooting, at the far end (135) preferably with an emphasis. For lovers of home shooting, a good flash is still useful, for video an external microphone. For unusual shots - a polarizing filter. + a second battery if you forget to charge the first one. Portraits require good lighting. If you need very detailed portraits in the half-light, a flight of a ball in a video or a dragonfly, a bud like in a herbarium…

Pros
  • If you take a kit 18-135, a tripod, a marumi dgs filter, a lens hood and a handy bag, as well as a remote control, you will get a travel camera, binoculars and a video camera.
Cons
  • The "green man" mode is an evil that must be abandoned immediately. There is no tracking autofocus in the video, but this is understandable - hitting the stage in the hall will pass anyway, and writing on the video the noise of the lens motor will ruin the sound.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

The camera lies in the hands like a glove, all the buttons are in place, a couple of hours after the purchase I worked with it in almost complete darkness, the manipulations of the buttons and the menu are intuitive. The instruction was not needed, in two days I studied it up and down without looking into the instructions. The camera is not afraid of extreme operating conditions. For two hours I filmed a city at night at temperatures below -30 degrees. At first he worked without gloves, then…

Pros
  • 1. Excellent image quality for the price. 2. Old lenses are suitable, even from EOS film cameras. 3. Convenience in everything. 4. Rotary display. 5. Very fast, no brooding effect in any operation. Instant response to pressing any button.
Cons
  • 1. Loud clatter of the shutter and mirror when shooting, the buttons on the rear panel also work with unpleasant clicks. 2. The software that comes with the camera is inconvenient and slow. 3. On the camera's built-in display, photos appear more color-saturated than they really are. This is misleading when evaluating shots "in situ".

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

my first DSLR, I switched from the cheapest soap dish, the photos are excellent, I don’t process anywhere. always did not like the rotary screen, it seemed that a toy that is easy to break, in practice, everything is quite different. It is very convenient to shoot from uncomfortable positions without a screen. Lies excellently in the hand. The first photos were not impressive, and then I went out into the street and started shooting everything, there are no questions about the quality, the…

Pros
  • 1) weight 2) photo quality even with a kit lens 3) photo processing 4) the swivel screen turned out to be very convenient and a lot more
Cons
  • the focus misses, with serial and macro shooting, the quality is lame

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product, best quality.

In general, an excellent SLR, I think it is bought, of course, by the majority of those who have their first SLR camera, or those who are bored with weaker models for absolutely beginners or just old models. The advice is to immediately think about buying a ZOOM lens, because the Kitovskiy 18-55 is, of course, out of any gate in nature. For those who are switching from soap dishes, please note that there is no zoom lever as you like) you will have to change the lens to photograph different…

Pros
  • 1. Convenient menu and convenient detailed manual 2. Good build quality and quality parts 3. Relatively low price for such a device 4. In auto mode or semi-automatic, it shoots very well even with a whale lens, rarely makes mistakes in choosing an exposure 5. In manual modes, of course, it is beyond praise (with acceptable ISO, of course, and straight arms) 6. Ergonomics on top! In the hand like a glove, even with one hand you get clear pictures, and this is with its weight! Class! 7. Shooting video in HD at 4, well, this is not a camcorder, so there is generally a video many thanks to Canon! 8. The swivel screen is a class, it does not scratch when it is not necessary to turn it off and that's it, when you need to remove it from raised hands - please, take the screen towards you and take it off. 9. Good capacious battery 10. Matrix 18 MP, not noisy with good resolution
Cons
  • Perhaps the disadvantages of the main 2: 1. In the shooting mode, not with a viewfinder, but on the display, it takes a very long time to aim, well, although this is more of a claim to optics even . 2. In video mode, autofocus does not work 3. The lid could really be fixed somehow, after Sony where it was done, it’s somehow strange to me 4. Not quite clear use of buttons in video mode, how to start recording? I would start with the shutter button or the enter button in the center, but no) you can’t figure it out without instructions ( 5. ISO 6400 and above is made for jackdaws, too noisy

The best product, from those that I have viewed, I advise everyone!

I use six months. I advise you to take a carcass, because the whale lens is terrible. I foolishly bought a whale. There is no way to buy good glass yet, but I took a decent sigma for a couple of days. The difference is palpable. Now I'm going to buy it. And then 24-105 f4 of the Canon L-series. And it will turn out a bunch for a couple of years behind the eyes. For the first DSLR, this is clearly the best option. If you don't care about shooting speed, it's not much different from the 60D. My…

Pros
  • Their weight: 1) Compactness 2) Price 3) Convenient control and etc.
Cons
  • For its not very high price - they are not.

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

I used Nikon exclusively, but it turned out that I had to switch to Canon, the transition was forced, I liked the brand for its ideology (the absence of "screwdrivers" and other marketing notions), but it didn’t particularly inspire. I took it from a friend just to try screwing my fifty dollars. I am amazed, I look at the photo and admire the tambourine to myself "I want, I want, I REALLY WANT". Of course I will buy something more modern, but this model is impressive. If you do not pay…

Pros
  • Adequate price / quality ratio. Great shots, thoughtful ergonomics. You can list the advantages for a long time, but they are already well known to everyone.
Cons
  • A specific drawback is the non-switchable display when bringing the carcass to the face.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

Some write about poor focus, but I can't agree with that! Yes, the whale does not focus very well, but as soon as you wind up the L series lens, all problems disappear ! compared in the studio with the ninon d90 600D, not a single soapy photo always came into focus, while nikon constantly smeared it) So this is a matter of the lens and not the camera) I photographed on the 5D mark 2, I didn’t notice anything particularly outstanding) yes FF, but it’s not makes photos gorgeous (this is my…

Pros
  • 1 Usability 2 Intuitive interface 3 Lots of modes for beginners 4 Design and construction (comfortable to hold) 5 Powerful battery (up to 1500 photos) 6 wireless sync capability 7 swivel screen 8 weight
Cons
  • As such, I did not notice!

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

This is my first DSLR, compared to soap dishes, heaven and earth. The choice was made between Canon EOS 550D kit, Nikon D5100 Kit and Canon 600D kit. Nikon rejected almost immediately, after all, I'm a supporter of Canon;) As a result, I opted for the 600D, the pivoting screen played a decisive moment, and the 600 is still a newer model. After reading the reviews, I immediately took it with an 18-135 lens. I don't regret my choice! decent model)

Pros
  • Swivel screen, user-friendly menu, excellent photo quality, the charge lasts longer than it is written in the instructions, good video quality, fits comfortably in the hand. fully justifies the ratio "price-quality"
Cons
  • Autofocus in movie mode does not work, but this can be easily fixed manually

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

Quality, practical and inexpensive camera. Simple and clear menu. After Zenith, FED and, later, PS SX-40, I figured out 600d in half an hour. I can’t say anything bad about the whale lens either. I shot in sunny and cloudy weather, indoors with poor lighting without a flash // here, of course, the focus is not the same and noise is present //. Almost always, AF works quickly and accurately. Good results were shown on the camera by Zenit lenses Helios-44M-6 and Mir-1V. Here, for lovers of sharp…

Pros
  • The advantages are described in some detail in previous reviews. I would especially like to note the swivel screen and quite fast autofocus. And a little more weight.
Cons
  • Basically, these are trifles: the lens cap can easily be lost, and the paper instructions are not in 2022.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I switched from Pentax k20d, which did not come close to the result of 600d with any glasses! Now photography has become even more fun! The ease of use of the camera suggests that even a schoolgirl can handle it to take an ordinary picture, but in order to depict something unique and amazing, I would recommend not to rest your desires on a top-end camera from leading manufacturers, but to learn on a budget and even work on it, you can main approach ! Tilt-shift lens and some skills…

Pros
  • Convenient, lightweight, compact, swivel display, kit lens copes with the potential of the camera, although only expensive optics can fully reveal its potential! Clear and bright viewfinder, fast autofocus, automatic mode works correctly! Intuitive menus and enjoyable shooting modes. Adequate price-quality ratio!
Cons
  • For high-quality pictures, you need buns like a good flash, the standard one does not stand up to criticism, although it works strong and properly! A tripod for evening shots and the night sky and, of course, a remote control + a battery pack for a more comfortable hold of the hand and a larger amount of charge - although this is all in principle not necessary if the result of the photo is not important to you!
