This is a great option for discreet Mini home use as the long power cord is conveniently tucked behind the unit and out of the way. This model is NOT compatible with newer minis now branded as Nest Mini. The Nest Mini's power plug is larger than the original Home Mini, so it won't fit.

I don't understand why people say theirs is not suitable. It was perfect for a home mini. Perhaps they had a newer nest. Works as intended but had to coil the cable a second time to get it to coil properly. Very compact and I wonder why they don't sell such models. An improvement would be if the power button wasn't pressed so hard after installation - I don't think I can turn it off unless I have a pencil to slide the switch. But I can just turn it off.

Google Mini has been sitting in my closet for a long time. It just sat on a shelf with a long cord stretched around an outlet, but that was all that worked. Found this while browsing Revain and considering the price why not try it. I'm so glad I did, I haven't dropped anything else, gotten caught on the power cord or slammed my speaker against the wall, and the rotating cable management system is made PERFECTLY for this application. If you are using an unofficial replacement power cord, this item may not work for you. I was able to cut a wider hole to fit the USB for my cable. I had an extra wire that didn't fit in the coil section. I took some tape and just stuck it to the back. Despite this, he still sits fairly close to the wall. I decided to put my Google Home Mini in the bathroom to listen to the news or music in the shower. Instead of putting it on my sink I decided to buy this mount to plug it into my 6 socket adapter.
