Beautiful, intricate details that are pleasing to the eye. But now, four months later, it's broken. When I turn the handle, the spring gets tensioned, but when I release the handle, the spring quickly returns to its original position. Some small mechanism preventing the spring from unwinding must be broken. This clock has just sat ticking on my dresser (and manually wound by me daily) since I bought it, so it's certainly not been mistreated.

Save money. I am a retired watchmaker and in 40 years of watch repairing I have seldom seen anything so cheap. You get what you pay for. My stem broke the third time I installed it and of course it was expired for return and the little card inside lists all the uncovered parts and guess what. So instead of mailing it off and throwing good money after bad money, I just throw it in the bin.

This is a very good watch for the price. It's a good weight and I can see my hands well without glasses. I particularly like looking at the inner workings from the front and back. The only thing I didn't like was the chain. I mostly wear jeans. I needed a chain that would securely attach to the belt loop, so I ordered a chain with a different end. The first one I received had hair and dirt inside, small marks were smudged and the front cover was scratched. It took forever to be replaced and sat in a warehouse in my city for 5 days before finally being delivered. Now I have a spare and it hasn't even ticked a full 24 hours when fully wound.
