Skate Sabbath: Casual DC Villain Review

This is the second pair I have had to return. The first two I bought, only one was new and not worn to the point of damaging and nicking other people's feet in the boot. This "spare" shoe is loosely a size 13 instead of a size 15. I can only believe these are counterfeit and not legitimate DC shoes. I will not order again.

I bought these to replace a pair I've had for about 5 years and they are finally showing their age. I read some reviews that the newer versions were a lot cheaper than the originals, but didn't give it much thought. They weigh about half as much as the originals, and the exterior and interior materials also appear to be of significantly lower quality. I will be returning mine in favor of a similar offering from Globe or Teva. Too bad because I liked the original!

DC Villians are my favorite after work shoes. Great for lounging and very comfortable to wear around town. They don't last forever and I usually buy two pairs a year but for $50 which is not bad for the comfort they offer. Most often it is the sole that after a few months begins to smooth out, and then it becomes not so comfortable to walk in it. But then again, for $50, they're great. seem a bit thicker than the normal model. Even the outsole feels a bit heavier and thicker than other models…

I bought these to use as shoes on the deck of a ship and couldn't wear them for long lest my feet start to hurt. I had gel insoles which I put in as that usually gets rid of any discomfort but they literally only fit someone with flat feet. This is the case if the buyer should be warned. The construction is good for everyday use in my opinion (can't call them skateboards as I don't skateboard) but they are very flat so they just don't fit my foot.

Obviously I've seen reviews and heard about new owners and declining quality. Received a pair with a very nice crease on the side. It is very sweet. I could return them but I'm not sure if I really want to try. Will definitely never buy from DC again. You received my money ONCE.

If your feet are as wide as mine, they will fit like a glove after a day of wear. Fast break-in time and super comfortable. Don't think about it. buy you. Do it.

Expect the old DC moccasins from 08 to come up short, didn't cost $30, maybe $10 max when you're basically paying $30 for a logo. They sent me 2 different sizes and the shoes have a non DC tag so they are clearly not made by DC or the quality of the shoes is terrible at the moment. I almost didn't want them because they are from DC but I missed the quality of the indoor/outdoor shoes they used to have, they had real rubber soles like regular shoes only with indoor shoe style and material on top

I bought these for my son after going to another store that no longer sold out in his size. Not only were they at least $10 cheaper at Revain, but they were delivered to me within 2 days, much quicker than if I had ordered elsewhere. I tried them on because I am now the same size in womenswear as my 11 year old son is in menswear and they fit AMAZING and were so light. I love them and might steal them if they outgrow them in a month or two 🤣

I love DC loafers, I buy two pairs a year and the old ones become indoor loafers or ones that can be used on the street. It's not even a month old but the threads are all falling out, you can't even wear it. Makes me angry. I'll probably return to my DCs elsewhere, pretty sure these are factory marriages or unofficial ones.

I bought a pair one size bigger so they would be as comfortable as slippers. But they are not made for wide feet. You are terrible. Just go to Walmart and buy a pair of slippers, they are three times cheaper and much more comfortable.

I love the style and the fit. We originally expected them to be quite durable and with some weight like other "skate shoes" but they are like slippers and very light. The only thing I would say is that the shoe has real tread.

The best slides I've found! This is my third pair and I will be getting more soon. Ideal for after chores, after golf and for leisure trips.

So I've been wearing this shoe for a couple of years now and it's been through all seasons. They are still on and now my friend stole them.

Good shoes, I like the color although I wanted gray and black instead, but cost a lot more money. I got these instead and while they are good shoes they are very light and more like slippers than "skate shoes". It's fine for the $35 I paid for it, but I'm glad I didn't spend $55 on the grey/black version.

This is my eighth pair of DC villains! Comfortable, supportive and soft to the touch thanks to the foam midsole! Looks great with shorts or jeans! The best shoes ever made!

So I bought them in November and left them in the box since I had a pair. Honestly, this is the best value for money I've found in a long time. After that has been said. I wear them to work because I want to look flying. Lol Note they skipped a stitch. Not the end of the world, but damn it bothers me. You need to make sure QC progress.

I would like one in each color. I've had these before and couldn't recall their durability. To my surprise, they survived. Easy to clean. I can't believe they still hold up the way they are. I'm wearing them right now!

I've been wearing Original Villian shoes for over 10 years and when I finally needed a new pair the only thing available was the Villian 2. The Original Villian and the Villian 2 fit completely differently. The malicious two is narrower and cheaper than the original. These shoes are rubbish and I was really upset that I ordered multiple pairs and had to return them all. The DC website just says Villian on the shoes so I ordered direct and they sent me a Villian 2! I'm super burned out on DC…

I've had a lot of DC products and lately it seems like a lot of their greats have gone down the drain. They are amazing for those that are medium sized maybe tall but anything larger and you will suck it in and your head will turn red trying to put your foot in and over time they will slowly stretch but it takes a long time. Come on DK!

Very light shoes. Narrower in the fingers than I would like but still comfortable. They are so light that they feel cheap but in a good way because they are leather.
