Disappointing with replacement wicks

porcelain part comes separately from wick. It's almost impossible to flash them. Don't even try to stretch it a little further if it burns out.

Pros
  • glitter
Cons
  • expensive

product joke. terrible

The first negative review. Terrible. Vic wasn't stretched. Can't get a ceramic finish. The wick is too short for a wine bottle. The product is a joke

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Exchange option

Misleading and poor quality

Doesn't fit in any wine bottle at first. Pay attention to the size of the wick, it's so short it'll barely fit in a short beer bottle (if you're lucky). Then the wick, even soaked with lamp fuel, will burn through within a few minutes.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • No performance

The wick doesn't absorb oil to burn properly

The wick is terrible. They burn instead of spreading the oil to allow the oil to burn causing a lot of smoke and then the flame goes out once the wick burns through which doesn't take long. I have experience with oil lamps and wicks and would not advise anyone to purchase this item.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Expensive

don't stay lit and don't burn out quickly - no wicks at all

so the wicks stay lit, burn and then light up again when you extinguish them. these wicks do not burn and must be constantly pulled out as the wick burns out. Ceramic holders are good. I bought another type and they work fine. too late for me to go back - so save your money and don't buy them.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Weight

Wick burns very quickly

I've made homemade tiki torches out of beer bottles and I love the ceramic lids that come with them, but the wicks burn out way too quickly. I tried homemade tiki fuel and bought it at the store. I ended up buying 2 packs of wicks from Dollar General for $1 and cut them in half so I could slide them through the hole in the ceramic caps that came with them.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Neutral

Not bad but not what I expected

They're good for the money. However, they are smaller than expected and do not fit in the bottle holes as expected. But they will work just fine. Threading the wicks through the ceramic plate is very difficult, I had to use a small flat head screwdriver and needle nose pliers to do it. But now that it's finished, I don't expect any further problems. Are they worth the effort and money? I think so.

Cons
  • Only available in white

If you replace the wicks they will ONLY fit wine bottles.

At the time of my purchase, the title and description indicate that they are intended for use with wine bottles; That's what I got them for and my review is about using them for that purpose. TL;DR: look elsewhere. As can be seen from the pictures the wicks were approximately 6 inches and 8 inches long which is not long enough to be used in a standard 750ml wine bottle; You will need 12-16 inch wicks for this purpose. Ceramic lids are also usually too small, but can be used almost without…
