Outstanding quality and Beautiful!

I use to have the large Le Creuset Dutch oven years ago, but somewhere along the years of multiple moves to different homes in different states I lost her! I was speechless to see that to replace the Le Creuset would cost around $400! I found this beauty for $59 and figured it would be fine for the occasional times I would need to be using it. Mainly for holiday cooking and entertaining. This DIJA Dutch oven is amazing. VERY HEAVY and beautifully designed. Can definitely also use it for…

Pros
  • Kitchen & Dining
Cons
  • The nonstick coating may wear off after several uses, making it difficult to cook certain dishes

Beautiful and Functional

This is a fabulous Cast iron Dutch Oven. It's a nice, large size, holding 7 quarts. The pot and lid are ceramic cast iron, non-stick, and made of all non-toxic material. The knob is stainless steel. So the pot, lid, and knob are anti-rust and anti-corrosive.The non-stick surface is easy to clean. The cast iron keeps food hot for a long time. It can be used with electric burners or gas burners. It is oven-safe to 500*F. I bought this Dutch Oven so I could bake bread in it. It makes a nice loaf of

Pros
  • Very heavy but good Dutch ovens are. Attractive and serviceable.
Cons
  • The pot is quite expensive compared to other Dutch ovens on the market

Good value for the money

Great for cooking when you need a "Dutch Oven". Heavy & sturdy. Nice finish both inside and outside. Lid fits perfectly. Great price . Why should I pay $300+ (for a French one made in China anyway) when this does the same job and is still made in China also? Nothing negative to say about this product. I would buy it again but would have gotten the 6 quart one instead of the 4 1/2 quart one. Received it very quickly.

Pros
  • It's a non-stick pot, which makes cooking and cleaning easier, and eliminates the need for too much oil or fat while cooking
Cons
  • The enamel can absorb odors from strong or pungent ingredients, affecting the taste of future meals

Heavy and cooks well!

I really love this Pot and the lid. It is cast iron with an enameled coating over it, and it is beautiful! Love the rich vibrant blue color, and the pretty white on the inside. The finish is really well done, looks great! This Pot looks great left out, you get a nice little silicone mat to set it on, the pot is quite heavy, so this is nice depending on the surface you are setting it on.Cleans up well, it is heavy, however it cleaned up really nice. This set really cooks well, I like making soup in

Pros
  • Good quality for the price.
Cons
  • The pot can warp or deform with extended use at high temperatures

Beautiful HEAVY pan

First impression of this pan was wow this is a nice very very heavy pan the lid weighs the same as the pan. This is one of the most durable pans I have and I have many since my husband loves to do the cooking he's always out shopping for better quality pans. It's just me and him here but he still cooks like the kids are still home (too much). This is the 7QT size pan in such a pretty color Blue it also comes with rubber grips and pad so you don't burn your hands with it. He has used this for an

Pros
  • Very good to handle
Cons
  • The pot is not compatible with induction cooktops, limiting its use in certain kitchens

My first Dutch Oven

Have put off buying a Dutch oven because I use a crockpot for most things others use the Dutch Oven for but.have discovered baking bread, particularly sourdough breads in a Dutch Oven and it can't be beat. The breads have been, tangy to taste, chewy to eat with gloriously brown and crunchy crusts.

Pros
  • For the price it is a really great pan and cooked the bread well!
Cons
  • I returned this item , The lid did not fit right , so did not even use it

Great Pot & worth the dollar

I absolutely love this pot my only issue is having to keep screw on the lid tightened it tends to loosen too often. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Multi-function & Stylish
Cons
  • The pot is not oven safe above a certain temperature, limiting its use for some dishes

Photo with soda can for scale.Don’t ignore that you need to wash this by hand. Enameled cast iron WILL chip if you put it in the dishwasher. It says on here and on the box that you "can” put it in the dishwasher but they do not recommend that you do so. I am taking a star for this, because I think it is false advertising to say it "support dishwasher cleaning” on the revain page, and then on the box say….well maybe do not do that too often. This blue is lovely. This is large enough for a massive…

Pros
  • The pot's design and material ensure that it distributes heat evenly, reducing the risk of food burning, and providing perfectly cooked meals
Cons
  • The pot is not suitable for use in the microwave, limiting its versatility in the kitchen

Ok for the price. on my review.

The size is good for my family, we have 2 adult, 1 teenage girl, 2 crazy boys.Stew the meat vey quickly and the meat is extremely tender. If you are concerned the weight, Of course, this kind of pot is really heavy but worth it.

Pros
  • Dutch Ovens
Cons
  • The nonstick coating can be difficult to clean, especially after cooking greasy or sticky foods

You won't have to sell your firstborn

When my parents got married--over a half century ago--they bought a Dutch oven. The famous French brand. They used it all the time when I was growing up, and they're still using it now. For years I've been wanting one of my own, but I also didn't want to take out a second mortgage or sell my firstborn in order to afford one. So I decided to try this one. It's really pretty--love the pale blue color--and is certainly as heavy as my parents' pot. The lid fits perfectly. So far I've been using it…

Pros
  • The DIJA Blue Dutch oven pot is oven-safe up to 500°F, making it perfect for both stovetop and oven cooking
Cons
  • The enamel can stain or discolor with certain ingredients, affecting its appearance and visual appeal

Great Little Dutch Oven

I also own Le Creuset pots but didn't want to spend as much for the smaller size I wanted. So far this pot is holding up pretty well and cooks up dishes really nice.

Pros
  • The DIJA Blue cast iron Dutch oven pot is a high-quality, durable, and long-lasting kitchenware that can withstand high temperatures and last for many years
Cons
  • The pot can take up a lot of space on the stovetop, limiting the ability to cook other dishes at the same time

Nice Heavy Pot. Loose Handle

I ordered the 7 quart Dutch oven in the blue size. It is a nice sized pot - you can fit a whole uncut chicken in it.The pot is a nice heavy weight and the side handles are robust and solid. You get the benefits of a cast iron pan, but without the need to season or any special care when cleaning. The pot is very easy to clean.I like that the lid has beading on the interior to gather steam. If you have the lid slightly off center of the pot to allow ventilation, it prevents some of the moisture…

Pros
  • It has a lid to lock in the moisture and juices, ensuring that your food remains moist and tender during the cooking process
Cons
  • The nonstick coating can wear off with frequent use, requiring additional cooking spray or oil

Awesome Cast Iron Dutch Oven

In learning new foods to cook, I figured I’d try my hand at some pot roast, but needed a Dutch oven to get my roast in. When I saw this, I thought the 7 quarts might be too big, but it ended up working well for a roast size of about 2.5lbs, and when dropping potatoes and carrots it’s the best size.Overall, I’m amazed at how well this works, even when set to low on the oven it still tends to get really hot inside and the juices bubble. It totally screams quality at a cheaper price point. I’ve…

Pros
  • The pot's enamel finish prevents rusting and chipping, ensuring that it remains looking as good as new even after many years of use
Cons
  • The enamel can peel or flake off over time, affecting its appearance and durability

Not non stick in my review

Says it’s non stick but we used a few times and meals have stuck to the bottom. example: chicken fried rice, home style potatoes.

Pros
  • Arrived fine. Beautiful color. No chipping so far. Super-easy to clean. Does what it should.
Cons
  • It is not dishwasher safe, requiring additional time and effort to clean

Off the bat, I'm very well pleased with this Dutch oven. A set of Le Creuset pans were my first kitchen gear 30 years ago, and those originals are still going strong. I used to be a Le Creuset enthusiast/snob, but I've since come to feel that for the non-specialty shapes and sizes, with proper care, one is as good as another. Besides my original Le Creuset, I also have half a dozen other modern brands that I've had almost as long, and much vintage pots that are 60+ years old that still perform…

Pros
  • The 7-quart capacity of the pot allows for versatile cooking and baking, enough for feeding large groups of people or making batches of your favorite dish
Cons
  • The pot may require seasoning before use, adding an additional step to the cooking process

Solid, heavy duty dutch oven

This item is really high quality and works as advertised. Fantastic value for the money. Only used a couple of times so far, but have been very impressed with the performance and ease of cleaning.

Pros
  • The pot comes with a bonus mat, which protects your countertop from the heat, scratches, and stains caused by the pot
Cons
  • The pot may not fit in some standard ovens, requiring additional equipment or adjustments

High quality at a great price!

I love a good Dutch oven type pan, but no way did I want to pay the prices that Le Creuset charge to get another one. This enameled cast iron Dutch oven works just as well as the more expensive brands. It has helped me create some delicious stews, pastas, chicken, etc. I am also in love with the color! It is a nice pop of color on this lovely piece!

Pros
  • Non-Toxic & Non-Stick
Cons
  • The pot may not fit in some standard dishwashers, requiring hand washing or a larger machine

Absolutely Love good for me

Got this for my mom and my sister has been trying to take it from her every since 😭 very heavy, easy to clean, cooks perfectly. In the end, it turned out to be a very valuable investment.

Pros
  • The side handles provide a secure and comfortable grip, which makes it easy to move the pot around even when it's hot
Cons
  • The lid can be difficult to clean due to its shape and design, requiring additional effort
