I love this set! Such bright and beautiful colors and quick to make. I used my own fabric because I didn't need the blue color but a good quality fabric. I liked the way the yarn was chosen. He wasn't confused and there was a lot of him. Very very pretty and just perfect for my new grandson. You can also change colors and make a pink owl for a little girl. Love it!

Bought this for my second grandson. We didn't know if it was a boy or girl so the great thing was that he provided instructions and just enough thread to make last minute color adjustments. This way you can do everything in advance, down to the parts of the owl that differentiate between a boy and girl, and you can even do it before the baby gets home. Plus it matched the theme of my grandson's room, forest animals!

I really liked this little kit. I completed it in less than three weeks and made a few minor edits to make it my own. Instead of a birth certificate, I monogrammed the blank at the top right in bright pink block letters with lime green French nodes. There was more than enough thread - probably enough to repeat the whole pattern, even using two threads where one was needed. It was a quick, fairly easy project and the bright colors are so pretty. Perfect for beginners or experienced embroiderers.

Very easy! This was the first counted cross stitch I've ever made and it was very easy to figure out how to do it with the instructions that came with it. It took me just under 3 weeks to complete it, but I was very focused on completing it quickly. There are a lot of threads in the kit, I have a lot of floss left over in almost every color. Very Cute Design. The expressions on the animals' faces made me smile. This is probably best for those with some cross stitch experience as there are some techniques such as lazy daisies and French knots. My photo is here without the baby's name and date of birth because I haven't added them yet and for privacy reasons. Only name and date of birth are given in the instructions. I have penciled first name, middle name, date of birth and birth weight in the attached chart. It wasn't too difficult

I haven't cross stitched since I was a kid (and I'm pretty sure it came from patterns printed on fabric). This is a great cross stitch project for beginners or those with limited time.
