Easy to install, works

Very easy to install. Remember the physics still apply: 1500 watts is only about 5200 BTUs, less than half a ton. So it doesn't perform much, but it does exactly what is advertised. Just keep your expectations consistent with physics.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

does not stay on - air conditioners

I don't like leaving bad reviews but I have emailed the company 3 times with no response. If it stayed on it might be useful, for some reason it's cyclical. about 1 minute, then 1-2 minutes off. if that's how it's supposed to work, then it's not worth the money, if not, i want the company back to me. If you buy one, I hope yours is better.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • a little wrinkled

Installation took less than 45 minutes just because I didn't have the right wrench and I had to use pliers to loosen two screws, and the instructions say a switch which i couldn't find. As long as it blows good warm air, it works great. I ordered a model number that had a label on my unit for my AC unit and so far I am happy. If anything changes I will repost

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Functionality

Works pretty well for HVAC

Super easy to install. First night. The outside temperature was 39 degrees. The maintained internal temperature of the 24-foot trailer was 66 degrees. The air temperature at the exit of the device is 90 degrees. For comparison, the air temperature at the outlet of the propane furnace is 137 degrees. just as good as with a propane stove. I would recommend this if you plan on staying at fully plugged in locations frequently and want to save on propane.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Nothing

Easy install, miserable heat.

This band is incredibly easy to install. It took less than 5 minutes. Too bad it's as useful as trying to warm up a trailer or RV with your hot breath. It sends warm heat through the strip to Luke while the rest of my ductless block continues to blow cold air out of every other hole in the block. Essentially, the cooling through every other vent far outweighs a single vent pushing a pathetic amount of heat through the strip. What's the point?

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Not a replacement for the old 3101121 or 3105164

It really pisses me off, people have specifically asked if this is a replacement for the old discontinued #3101121, it absolutely isn't. If you have an older air conditioner marked "Heater Element 3101121 or 3105164" it is absolutely impossible to safely install this thing and not create a serious fire hazard. Everything is fine except the people who answered a specific question about this, INCLUDING ONE THAT CLAIMS TO BE THE MANUFACTURER!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are nuances

Dometic Brisk II 13.5 without ducting

Half of my Dometic Brisk II controls are for heating and it felt like a waste of time not using them so I'm giving another $75 for here comfort off. Installation was easy, just pull out the ADB, screw in the element and protective cover and plug in. As many people have pointed out, this is probably not enough to heat a large RV/RV and you will have to put up with a noisy fan. for not much heat. However, you can save some money by using offshore electricity to offset most of your propane usage…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Has flaws

A great addition to our Fall/Spring camper van

Generates a decent amount of heat, although not much. I installed it in our home air conditioner in our pickup truck in about 15 minutes. I could see how many people are not satisfied with the result. Doesn't blow hot air. However, it blows warm air and our camper is quite small inside. I think this would be ideal for reducing the amount of propane we use in cold weather. It also takes a few minutes to fully warm up. I decided to test it and see how much heat it gives off. I put my thermometer…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Frequency

Works fantastic would definitely recommend

Bought for our 2019 Mallard M180. This is a 23 foot RV. Works fantastic. Did a 4 day trip recently and the temperature dropped to 32 degrees at night. It actually kept the caravan too warm. The thermostat for this does not fall below about 70 degrees. On the plus side, the camper is very warm and doesn't require propane gas. But since we prefer it a little cooler at night, we only used it during the day and switched to propane gas at night. Our camper is now very well insulated with 2 inch…
