I keep my printer filament in ziplock bags and a desiccant bag but if you don't have either of these in your bag you really don't know if the filament is dry or not .

I put them in my drawers and jewelry cabinet and they turned pink almost immediately. Where I live, it rains a lot and it's muggy. I still don't think I need to replace my desiccant packs.

I only needed a few but chose to buy in bulk. The product comes in a sealed (and resealable) Mylar plastic bag. I threw a few of these in a container that I needed a monitor for. They read and work the same way.

I use these in my filament storage boxes to quickly measure humidity. This is especially useful for PETG filament which I need to keep dry. Of course it helps if your storage boxes or bags are clean so you don't have to open them to check your cards ;)

I use these in vacuum sealed bags to store filament for 3D printers. I have Dry & Dry silica packs. The humidity is very easy to see and read. At very low humidity levels it can be difficult to see a pale pink color but this is normal as it indicates a very low level.

These work as advertised and work as a detour. I originally bought these to control humidity in a dry filament box, but this isn't the best solution for that. I ended up buying some digital hygrometers. However, this should not reflect badly on the product or the seller and I would recommend them for any suitable use.

Im impressed with how it works. I have several ammo cans (full) and have been able to identify those with high humidity. I have noticed that the moisture levels in each jar are different from each other. I also bought silica bags and was able to place exactly the amount of silica bags needed to remove moisture. This product is REQUIRED if you want to store your ammo or product.

I like this packaging because it gives an idea of how my gel packs will perform in my ammo canisters where I keep my guns, ammo and valuables. When the 3rd dot from the left is a little discolored, I know it's time to toss my gel packs in the oven. I'm no longer in the dark wondering how my gel packs are doing. I put them on top of my stuff in ammo cans, which gives me instant feedback when I open ammo cans.

They work as advertised, I use them in sealed clear plastic containers to show when the silica gel inside needs to be regenerated. They turn from dark blue to pale blue and eventually start turning pink when the humidity is much higher than what is shown on the stain. However, they turn blue again when the humidity drops below the specified level. I've had 10-15 cycles so far and they're still working. Compared to other hygrometers they seem to be quite accurate.
