    USB network adapter

USB network adapter/hub works well. Plug and play in my Macbook Pro model (Late 2013). The wireless connection didn't seem to come close to my 600Mbps internet speed. I would get 150Mbps at most, probably due to older hardware. With this adapter I have a constant 715 Mbit/s and websites fill up much faster. I also like the seller's one year warranty which is very valuable. The adapter heats up to a temperature of 101.6 degrees with a regular thermometer, but it still works perfectly.

Ethernet port: excellent - USB ports: not so good

My router's wifi signal is too weak and I often disconnect from the internet, the purpose of this purchase was to connect a laptop with an ethernet cable, um Have a more stable signal PROS: This hub is useful for any laptop that doesn't have ethernet. I use it on a Macbook and it doesn't need any drivers. I was afraid that this adapter would slow down my bandwidth, but it doesn't: the internet speed is the same as another computer (connected to the network). and it works It gets hot but that's…

    It works! Computers and Accessories

I teach online and my laptop doesn't have an ethernet port. I've relied on Wi-Fi, but too often it wasn't good enough. I was very skeptical about these adapters because I just don't understand how they work. After another online tutor assured me that they use an adapter and that it works great, I decided to give it a try. I also needed more USB and this little thing was amazing! My internet connection is excellent. Definitely recommend.

Best LAN speed for old laptop

Good job for this "USB3.0 Hub_RJ45 Ethernet Port" (brand not specified). The first; Using last year's Lenovo V570 laptop on a MINT 20, I verified that my download speed is 64.3Mbps - currently it's around 200Mbps. What just happened here? The only reason I'm checking this is because the RJ-45 LAN port on this old laptop didn't work for years and I switched from a different brand of USB to LAN adapter to this one to use wired ethernet with it to use additional USB ports. The first test showed…

    Good traffic for network adapters

Like most people in the world, I've been working from home for 1.5 years. In order to improve my internet speed, I spent a decent sum on equipment and consumables, since of course my work laptop is extremely limited in terms of ports. Can't complain because I didn't have to pay for it, but sometimes it bothers you when you use 2 monitors on top of a laptop. The demand for Wi-Fi is ridiculous, so even though I've increased my speed twice, I still have interference and often the VPN drops out on…

    Great hub! - Networking Products

I just received a 2015 Macbook and there are only two USB ports with two useless Thunderbolds and even an Ethernet port. This hub is a lifesaver: it adds 2 USB ports and an Ethernet port - yes, I want a permanent connection to my router. You ask why two ports when the hub shows three ports? Well, you need to connect to one of the ports on the computer, and that one isn't available - it's available on the hub, leaving two others. But regardless: I would recommend this hub for the price and the…

USB ports work but RJ45 can also be switched

UPDATE. After I posted this review, the company contacted me and was happy to send me a replacement. I obviously wanted to try another one as it might be an anomaly or some other issue that I couldn't find. I got a new one, exactly the same, and plugged it in and unsurprisingly nothing has changed. I can pull down the 90's and get them firmly into the high 30's or low 40's. Out of curiosity it dawned on me, I'm wondering if the switch has anything to do with this? After some research I was able

Product of good quality and flexible adaptability Operating system

I love it! So far only PROs1. It works with our very old little laptop that we use for our kids to watch their internet shows on our not so smart old TV 2. Our operating system is Linux, so I was initially concerned about Plug and Play3 compatibility. The company emailed me shortly after receiving it with links to the drivers in case there was a problem. When I told them I was using Linux and which one, they quickly responded with a link to the driver. To be honest I never needed links. It was…

Works but not as well as another brand

Bought my wife an Ethernet/USB adapter called "TECKNET Aluminum 3-Port USB 3.0 Hub with RJ45 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet adapter"a a few weeks ago. This one worked great so I decided to buy another one for another computer as we had switched all our devices around the house to Ethernet to avoid Wi-Fi dropouts. The one I bought said shipping would take almost a week So I bought this one thinking it would be the same, unfortunately it's not like this one runs very warm (the other one has no…
