Diarrhea Food Alert

In a 3 year old Dane and a 4 month old Ridgeback who are not sensitive to either random foods or switching brands, this undoubtedly caused diarrhea. One meal and we had it for the next 12-24 hours. Switched to the next meal and they were fine again. Tried several times, everything runs like clockwork. Waist $60+.

Eukanuba is high quality dog โ€‹โ€‹food with no gimmicks!

This is a quality dog food and we trust it and so do the vets in this field. They all sell it, but understandably at a much higher price. There seems to be so many useless dog foods on the market. We have decided that it is best to keep our rescue dog on a vet recommended food. And he's doing great!

Pros
  • Decent performance

  • Good but not great

Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy Food

I started feeding my adult dog Eukanuba last winter when a friend gave us 2 packs. My dog used to be cold all winter. No longer. He had vision and gum problems. No longer. Then he slept the whole time and got up with difficulty. No longer. I wouldn't feed my dogs anything else despite the high price after seeing what Ehkanuba does so I had no choice when I got the pup. Oh, in the summer the flies ate his ears. No longer. And his fur is so thick. It didn't shed like it did when I first got itโ€ฆ

Wish the packaging was better

Must be delicious as both bags I ordered were attacked by ants before we even opened the box. I usually order a large breed puppy for my Red/Shepherd mix and an adult large breed puppy for my Catahoula/Lab mix. For some reason the adult dog food bag arrived intact and the ants did not approach it, but we come home and know immediately which box the puppy food was in - it will be covered with ants. I had to throw away two bags of food because the ants found their way in tiny scuffs/cracks allโ€ฆ

2nd bag - now with Diharree Puppy

I have bought this item twice. Our 3 month old lab pup had a first bag with no problems. When I bought this for the second time along with other things. The food looked darker this time as another customer mentioned in the review section but it was the exact same bag. Now my puppy has diarrhea. We stopped feeding her this food and switched to normal rice + chicken, she is normal. To confirm, we tried it in a small amount, around 10-20 grams, and the Dijarrea started again. It happened threeโ€ฆ

The dogs don't like that. Shame on Yuku for selling him.

Purchased for our 5 month old greyhound. He liked the regular Euk puppy food we bought but the pieces are too small. I don't know what's special about it, but he doesn't like it. Our 10 year old mixed breed who eats literally EVERYTHING won't eat that either. Neither will be from the pomcha. So I donate a huge bag of dog food to the local animal shelter and feed my pup adult food until I find something else. Hooray. (Dog food should be hard to spoil. If you make something so nasty or bland that

More savings over time

UPDATE: My pup has shown less interest in Eukanuba over time so I recently switched to Royal Canin. He's eating it a little better but still not crazy about it like our other dog's Solid Gold Wolf King (but it does give an upset stomach) and it looks like Royal Canin, Eukanuba and Orijen are some of them. the best food for standard poodles (and I can't afford Orijen). I wouldn't say this food is bad as my pup never got sick from it but over time he became less and less willing to eat it. It got
