Bought 3 pieces at the end of July 2016 for $60 each. Last week (late September) one tore cleanly apart on my starboard where the shape of the end meets the rubber cylinder that connects both ends. Under the same conditions on the same boat, other dampers look perfectly fine. Of course I threw away the packaging. Material without thinking that they will break so quickly.
