Strong wick and even burn

Excellent wick. The core was very strong and kept my candles burning at a constant rate. I also liked how they were shipped in a box that allowed me to reuse and store the wicks.

Almost satisfied with the candle making

These wicks are good quality but there are no stickers in the box? For the price you'd think they'd throw them in a box. I'm disappointed they didn't.

New to candle making

I'm relatively new to candle making. I really liked the ease of use of these wicks. They were strong and held up well when cast with wax. Great company, nice customer service and was very helpful. Definitely recommend these wicks if you are a beginner or experienced candle maker.

  • Absolute Legend
Cons

Big enough in wick

I was interested in getting a bigger wick and it's XL. I love how he mentioned the appropriate size range on the outside of the box. This wick is quite strong and thick. I don't even need a wick holder when pouring wax. (I still use it, but it's pretty strong on its own.) I'll trim the wick so there's not too much fire. Nothing to fault.

Pros
  • Manufactured
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

High quality candle wick!

Looks great and well done! We cut the wicks to make walnut candle boats at Candlemas, but plan to use life size ones as well. They were a bit thick for the little walnut boats but they didn't burn through immediately and we were able to have a very bright candlelit dinner. Have fun for kids!

The chat instructions didn't do my candles justice

I am disappointed with the size chart. My medium was too weak, my XL was too big, have now tried 1 single wick and a large diameter 3.5 double wick and it still hasn't completely melted. Heat wax 464 to 180, cool to 140, no dye, 1 time flavor per pound. A little disappointed and lost money and wax

Do Not Recommend

So initially I was very excited about the idea of using solid American wicks in my candles, using a 3 inch container of soy I bought large wicks. I had a large amount of mushrooms and soot. So I buy an average, slightly better but still not good enough to use. Then I try a small one and still get mushrooms and soot and can't get a fully melted puddle. This product completely let me down, not only just short of my candle, but at $45.
