Difficult to use: Sewing

It is very difficult to get a perfect circle with this tool as there is no good way to fix the fabric so it won't move when trying to cut the tailor to wield the bow. So when I use it I usually end up with a pretty nice circle that I need to trim a bit.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Zero

Weak, difficult to use.

The first ten laps went perfectly. After that, the blade began to slip. It may have been damaged because the cutter is difficult to insert into the slot. It's hard to see if it's aligned. Also, the fabric shifted a bit and turned into ovals instead of circles. It's not worth it. The hunt for a decent circular cutter continues.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • long wait

The perfect gift! in the rotary cutter

Given away, just at the upper end of the price limit. I knew my MIL would love it and of course she "stole" it from me after I exchanged numbers so I had to go to her. She was of course happy to receive this in exchange. Seeing her so happy made Christmas happy because she is a wonderful grandmother who always makes the holiday special for her grandchildren. The perfect buy for a quilt that has pretty much everything.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Brief instructions

The only way to cut exact circles out of fabric

I'm working on gifts and "tried" to cut circles out of fabric and cotton batting, but they never came out the same size for all 6 parts needed for the project. I saw this on YouTube and decided to add it to my quilting materials. SO VERY happy with this ruler and cutter. Accurate circles every time! Extremely easy and safe to use, even for nerds like me! After this project (tortilla warmer) I will look for another one that needs circles. So much fun.

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

How did I make circles before?

At first I was annoyed about the purchase because the price seemed too high to me. If it had arrived I would have actually paid more for it. I hate. No, I hate cutting circles. They're a pain and they're a chore to do. The thing is fast and accurate. I cut 10 large circles in half the time it would take me to cut 1 circle by hand with scissors. and those were EXACT and PERFECT circles! If you have a lot of things that you need to trim, I recommend you buy this. Even if you make quilts/yo-yos…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Difficult to use

My first impression is that it's a bit flimsy compared to other Fiskars products I've used. It doesn't look like it will hold up well and could break easily. I love that this cuts out a perfect circle. It's not as convenient as I hope. It has a certain learning curve. If you're not careful, the cutting handle will pop out. You have to practice a bit with this, otherwise it won't cut through the fabric completely. It was frustrating at first, but after using it a few times I got the hang of it…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
