Product speed problems and motor failure

This turntable should be removed from the shelves. I liked the look, so I actually bought it twice, thinking that the first time the engine had problems with speed was an accident. Surprisingly, after about 4 hours of gameplay, the engine on both devices started having speed issues around the same time. Terrible product. Waste of time, energy and money to buy it. Total crap all around. Absolute rubbish!

  • Confident

  • Crumpled packaging

Serious defects, unbearable RPM fluctuations

This is the first new turntable I have owned and I have to say it was a big disappointment. I've been listening to records almost every day for the past 8 months and the RPM fluctuations are becoming unbearable, especially on the 45s. At first I told myself I was just hearing something, but over time, even after adjustments, it became increasingly clear. Piano recordings are physically painful to listen to. Don't get me wrong, the sound quality is amazing; However, slurred speech and hesitation

Great workmanship and workmanship, full and rich sound!

Don't let some reviews put you off this gem. I was looking for something practical but inexpensive. I originally considered going for the Audio Technica LP-120 but settled on this one instead as I like the more classic wood finish compared to the LP-120 which has a more modern silver look. This player is fantastic. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and it works great. Set up is super easy with the included instruction manual and once you've got it set up you just press the tonearm and bam! You…

Great player, great analog sound

I pulled the trigger and ordered the rt81 after also considering the Uturn Orbit and AT LP120. I made the right decision based on the aesthetics alone. This table is great. Some customers say it's difficult to install, but it's no harder than any other player. Just be patient, carefully read the well-written instructions, watch the Fluance setup video on YouTube. You can do that! It's not difficult; It took me about five minutes. After a week of listening, the rt81 sounds as beautiful as it…

Nice looking turntable with unacceptable RPM

I really wanted to love this turntable, really really loved it. The turntable itself was stunning. The first turntable I received had to be returned due to RPM issues. Even following the recommended guides I still couldn't get the RPMs down to an acceptable level, on the 33 1/3 I could only get it down to 49.9 RPM and on the 45 I could only get it to an acceptable level at a whopping 86, 6 RPM. I realized that not all products can be perfect so returned to Revain for a refund. After returning…

Great/excellent unit, better sound than Audio-Technica LP120-USB

Not a DJ, I recommend this one. The RT81 is the third turntable I've tried to reignite my interests as a record collector at a price point that suits me and it's a winner. I tried one of the Audio-Technica LP60 but it seemed cheap to me so I went with the AT LP120-USB. But I could swear it sounded too muddy/midrange given the hype surrounding it. So before returning it I bought an RT81 and played the same record on both machines. To my ears, the RT81 sounded better than the 120-USB…

A lot of bang for the buck, but there is a downside.

In the foreword I would like to say that for this price you get a lot for your money. Great tonearm, Audio Technica cartridge is transparent and mostly colorless, high quality rubber mat, base is solid and heavy (which is really good), built-in preamp is enough to start and enjoy your favorite recordings (although I recommend using an upgraded external phono -preamp than the next upgrade) and overall the player looks fantastic. I like it! However, I have found that the turntable speed is not as

Beautiful, simple, great sound

I will break it down into several parts. Appearance: I know it's MDF with veneer, but this turntable is great. Her style is minimal and simple. The dust cover is durable and allows you to protect all components from dust. You can also leave the dust cover on while playing vinyl records. Features: One knob turns the turntable on/off (just select 33 or 45 RPM and it starts spinning automatically when the tonearm is removed from the rest. I bypassed the preamp with a switch on the back and the…

My search is over: Turntables & Accessories

First off, let me say that I'm not new to the vinyl community. I've been collecting vinyl since the early 1960's. Of course I needed something to play vinyl on, so I've had several turntables over the years. Direct drive, belt drive and rim drive. Pioneer, Dual, Technics, Garrard and even Marantz abound. I still have a few of these but they're getting old. I will restore them when time and funds permit, but I recently set up a new system using an old Pioneer receiver connected to a pair of…
