I love these shoes: my review

I love these shoes. This is my triple pair and honestly they are the highest quality leather and shoes I have ever bought and they are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Very convenient
Cons
  • Can be difficult to crack

I would not recommend it.

I have worn these shoes twice with very minimal walking and have already noticed that they are worn in the front. This has never happened to me with a shoe, but with every step I take, as the shoe flexes and the toe squeezes, the leather scrapes the floor, causing it to wear down. It's been worn thinner than other leathers on shoes and I'm sure it will puncture after a pair of socks. Apparently the sole of the shoe is too small. If you intend to wear them regularly I would recommend buying…

Pros
  • I like Frye men's boots and shoes. 2nd pair of these!
Cons
  • May not be appropriate for every occasion

I love these shoes!

I love these shoes. I have 4 pairs in different colors. You can wear them as formal shoes, casual shoes. or like slippers. So comfortable. Easy to put on and take off.

Pros
  • Bought as a birthday present for my son. He loves shoes
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with wide feet

You paid too much for it!

DO NOT BUY! 3 weeks after wearing, holes formed at the top of both shoes. Have been buying FRYE products for 25 years. back and was very happy with it, "NEVER AGAIN"!

Pros
  • Like the overall look and comfort. High quality leather and workmanship.
Cons
  • Can not be non-slip

These shoes look cheap and run very small!

I wear 11-1/2 in other Frye Penny moccasins so I bought 11-1/2 and they fit like a size 10. They are made in China unlike my other Frye shoes which are made in Mexico become. I tried to exchange them and the price went up to $140 in 2 days.

Pros
  • good price and good quality
Cons
  • Live may not look as good as online

I am so excited about this shoe. I had blisters on my feet during the phase pause, but now they feel like slippers. The skin is amazing and I literally couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Pros
  • I love the texture, perfect for me
Cons
  • The product comes much darker than described. More brown than brown

Developed a hole in the toe

Comfortable and stylish, but the leather was crumpled in the toe area and a hole was forming. This happened even with little use and even after using Frye Leather Conditioner as directed. For the money I expected better quality shoes and will not buy them from Fry again. Disappointed but lesson learned.

Pros
  • These shoes are very comfortable and look great. Ideal driver's moccasin for long periods of wear.
Cons
  • Possibly not breathable enough

then it's a good buy

If you can get them for less than $100 then it's a very good buy. Do not retail. You can find quality Italian/Spanish moccasins for a little more. As with some other reviewers, the tip of the toe wears down with a lot of pavement walking. High quality leather, I like the style.

Pros
  • Tried this brand for the first time. Great shoes! I'll be back.
Cons
  • Just buy some old-school moccasins. For $10. There can be no downgrading compared to this shoe disaster.

Great but 1/2 size too big

I bought these as a Christmas present for one of my sons and tried them on another son who has slightly larger feet than his brother. He advised me to order half a size smaller for his brother, and his advice turned out to be correct. Loafers look very cool but are stylish enough for younger men (my sons are in their 20s). I ended up keeping the original pair that I bought for my son who tried them on for his brother because he really liked them.

Pros
  • I like it
Cons
  • May cause discomfort in hot weather.

size fits me

I wear a 10, ordered 10.5 for fear the size is smaller. I go back and take size 10 as 10.5 is too big. I have no comments on the yield issue. still. Great shoes, I hope they last!

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • Can't be durable

Good driving shoes!

Bought as driving shoes for my husband. A little tight in the toe area, but nothing that can't be fixed with a shoe tree. Very convenient.

Pros
  • Super comfortable shoes. Ideal for both casual and more elegant occasions. Wear them with both jeans and khakis.
Cons
  • A break-in period may be required

Used shoes? the best in my rating

The coloring is uneven. It seems that the shoes sent do not meet production standards. One more try before I think ordering certain products online is a bad idea.

Pros
  • as expected
Cons
  • May have an outdated design

Shoes run small in my opinion

Shoes run small, wearers should point out that shoes run small. This is a great pair that I had to give away as I don't have time to go to all the places to get a refund.

Pros
  • A good product
Cons
  • May not be easy to clean

love the style good for me

I like the style, mainly because it is very simple. Comfort is good but not as comfortable as the last pair of Ecco moccasins I had.

Pros
  • Bought these for my husband. Great color and fit. He says they feel like slippers.
Cons
  • may not have good ventilation

ATTENTION before my rating for my opinion

TERRIBLE PURCHASE! So disappointed in Fry. The rubber that rises behind the heel started to peel off the skin ONLY after 2 socks! So upset!

Pros
  • The quality is certainly excellent, but a bit low. Used a shoe stretcher and the fit issue is now resolved.
Cons
  • May not provide desired traction with outsole

Fell apart in 2 months! Looked good but it's over.

Decayed after 2 months of average wear (3-4 days per week). The stitching is not real, the sole began to come off both at the back and on the sides of the front. Otherwise: * Comfortable enough, I've had more comfortable loafers (Lacoste etc.) for a much lower price. *looks very good. * The outsole is thin enough to look chic but durable enough to provide good support. Just not worth the price considering it fell apart within 2 months of average wear (3-4 days a week).

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Modern

They're pretty comfortable. Correct

I bought it mainly as driving moccasins. Most driving shoes are little more than moccasins or slippers. I wanted something simple that I could wear to a meeting without feeling too casual. I wanted soft leather loafers with a snug fit and a driver's heel (most drivers meet this requirement). However, I also wanted a shoe with a more durable insole, a one-piece outsole, and a slightly raised heel (most riders don't have these extra features). These fryes were just what I needed. The shoes appear

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Concern

Absolutely fantastic everyday loafers

I am very happy with my Frye moccasins. I have a nice pair of vintage Johnston & Murphy shoes for when I need to dress up, but my job tends to be casual. pants, shirt and tie. A jacket is not needed, but maybe once a week. Therefore, these moccasins are worn 4 times a week for at least 10-11 hours a day. I'm a solid 9 in everything and ordered 9 - they fit perfectly. A little snug but fully adapted to my foot in 3-4 long days of work. Now they slide and sit like a glove on my foot. I know it's…

Comfortable and durable

Once you break them in these shoes are great. At first I thought I should order the wide ones, but the more I wear them, the better they fit my foot. They are true to size after wearing. I usually wear Sperry Top Sider Gold Cup Loafers, but the quality was declining quickly and I have to replace them after about a year. On the other hand, FRYE uses durable quality leather that I don't think will wear down with repeated use. The areas of my Sperry shoes that wear out first (the outer skin near…
