Such a great time saver but not so durable.

Received it yesterday. Got to work immediately and was so happy. Today the knob broke off! ☹ I'm going to glue it back on but it could be a little more sturdy. Other than that I love it.

Pros
  • Makes a great gift for any creative person in your life
Cons
  • Knitting machine may be difficult to store when not in use

Package came sealed but was missing screws to attach the legs and also missing the suction cups that are supposed to secure it to a hard surface.

Pros
  • Can be used to create warm and cozy pieces of clothing
Cons
  • May not produce high-quality or durable results compared to handmade projects

I didn’t like how hard it was to load and flimbsey it was Not suitable for multi-tasking, as it requires full attention and concentration.

Pros
  • A great way to make use of leftover yarn from other knitting projects
Cons
  • Not suitable for multi-tasking, as it requires full attention and concentration

Not working properly

I just got it today to make baby beanies and started using it. It has a bad rattle and skips A LOT figured we would take it apart see if maybe something wasn't laying right. The needles don't even sit properly and are really thin, hard to turn and really loud. The last picture is where the needles go up and down.

Pros
  • A great kit for beginners and advanced knitters alike
Cons
  • Requires significant time commitment to complete projects

Probably a knock off

I really tried hard to like this machine. I have successfully made several things on it, however its so cheaply made that nearly everything on it has snapped at this point, and I've only had it 2 months. It was also a 'Sentro' when I purchased in September and now has a different name. Go through the branded seller. I'm so disappointed.

Pros
  • Helps improve hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
Cons
  • May not provide users with a sense of accomplishment or satisfaction compared to more traditional knitting methods

Sentro/Santro - Good Buy for the Cost

I received the 40 needle knitting machine today a day earlier than expected. I specifically asked the seller if it is a Sentro brand and they replied promptly stating it was. I received a Santro brand. I was somewhat unhappy about this but for the cost I decided to give it a test. I made 4 hats using the yarn provided. I had no issues at all. It cranked well and there was no skipped stitches even after changing tension randomly. I’m pleased with machine for now.

Pros
  • Can be used to create intricate and complex knitting patterns
Cons
  • Instructions may be too extensive or unclear for some individuals

fun to use best in my review

nice little knitter, runs smoothly, even stitches. comes with small skeins of yarn, yarn has no description as to weight, fiber content, etc. but is good for learning how to use the tool and for scrap yarn. Look on Youtube for better instructions. This does what I bought it to do. I am pleased with my purchase.

Pros
  • Perfect for children and adults alike
Cons
  • Users may find it difficult to create unique designs with the limited options provided

Don’t waste your money

This purchase was the fifth machine to my collection. After hearing time and time again, these machines are all basically the same just have different names on them is wrong wrong wrong. This machine is garbage. Had I not glued a counter on the machine I would have returned it. Total waste of money.

Pros
  • La compre para mi sobrina y le ayudado mucho a tejer es muy útil
Cons
  • Have found that only a couple of yarn types can be used without having tucked or dropped stitches.

Love this! best in my review

Be patient! It is a learning curve but so satisfying to be productive and efficient. Is picky with yarns. find yarns that work and stick with them for less frustration. I've made so much in less than a month.

Pros
  • This machine makes it easy and very quick
Cons
  • Broke first time used.

Broke on day 2: my feedback

Worked great the first night I used it. Dropped quite a few stitches but I figured that was because I was learning. Went to use it the 2nd day and it just quit working and won't turn. Will be returning and saving up for an addi.

Pros
  • Great for creating hats, scarves, blankets, and more
Cons
  • Not ideal for beginners who may require more guidance with knitting

Very cheaply made.: my feedback

The instructions were very confusing. I finally figured it out from YouTube. It skipped stitches often which made more work for me. Also the plastic was made thin and weak. One of the legs was broken when it arrived so I couldn't attach one of the suction cups. Several of the hooks broke on the 4th hat I made rendering it useless.

Pros
  • Lets you express your personality and creativity through the knitted pieces you create
Cons
  • May not be a suitable gift option for individuals who do not enjoy crafting or knitting

Gears brake easy in my review

I had this for some time I use it maybe once a month and the gears are already broken this is the 2nd one I’ve bought both times the grears brake and it constantly drops stitches. It’s not worth the money. It’s like throwing money away.

Pros
  • Smooth cranking, easy to use and came with accessories that were a great addition.
Cons
  • It worked but the needles miss frequently.I’ve redone every scarf multiple times because of it. :/

DO NOT BUY in my review

I just got this today and it doesn’t work at all. it also states that it comes with 10 balls of yarn and it only comes with 3 itty bitty balls of yarn. it is also listed as a sEntro but I received a sAntro. DO NOT BUY.

Pros
  • Requires less manual dexterity than traditional knitting
Cons
  • Instructions provided may be confusing or difficult to follow

Poorly made best in my review

We ordered this for my daughter for Christmas and it was broken when we got it. Replacement was easy and fast, but the replacement broke a needle just a couple of days later. We were using a very fine 4 yarn.

Pros
  • Comes in a compact and easy-to-store box
Cons
  • Requires a significant amount of effort and time commitment to master

Worthless. I don’t know how many times I tried to put the yarn in there and everything looked like it was picking up properly and it didn’t catch. I could net a hat faster by hand then that time that I wasted trying to figure out how to work this thing.

Pros
  • it's great just wish it had a counter
Cons
  • Broke so quickly

False advertising on my review.

Upon delivery- I was not sent the sentro machine listed. Instead I was delivered a crappy off brand machine that doesn’t even hold a stitch. Pissed is an understatement

Pros
  • No need to struggle with a single knitting needle and complex knitting patterns
Cons
  • Users may not enjoy the process of knitting with a machine as opposed to traditional methods

Not what i expected.

My daughter loves crafts, so i purchased this. The tensioner broke on first use. It sometimes misses a stitch, usually near the start. When trying to get the yarn to release from the machine, it will mess up. The "p" knitt does not work well at all.

Pros
  • Perfect for those who want to create their own unique knitting patterns
Cons
  • May not produce sufficient results to justify the amount of time and money invested in the product

So close to amazing

The value is there UNTIL the product breaks on you. This thing is amazing but it realistically can only crank out a few beanies or a few hours of constant turning. If higher quality materials, this would be 5/5 product. Does make a cute gift for hobby use. To be fair I was trying to churn and burn as many items as I could, which led a pink plastic arm to snap.

Pros
  • Affordable, so you won't break the bank getting started with knitting
Cons
  • Can be noisy and may disrupt others in the household or work environment

This machine is jumpy

This machine for some reason lets me get about 40 rows in and then starts getting jumpy. It then skips stitches. I have restarted more projects on this machine then I care to discuss. I finally just put it up on the shelf and be done with it. I would not recommend this product under this name.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • It does not work. The yarn get stuck all the time and after 5 lines. Dont waste your money.
