The frames are very cheap and broke after 2.5 months.

No purchase recommendation. Bought in January, it's now March and the screw holding the frame together is broken and lost. the fact that a $45-$50 pair of glasses only lasted 2.5 months. I do not recommend buying.

Pros
  • Makes you happy
Cons
  • Reliability

Strap loops too weak for everyday use

Strap and loops are poorly constructed. The screw fell apart on my original order, so Amazon sent me a replacement. After a few months, the plastic part of the hinges (the one with the screw hole) fell apart when I was trying to take my glasses off at work one day. Based on my first experiences, I was particularly careful when exchanging them.

Pros
  • easy to use
Cons

I bought this product in August 2017 and made of plastic.

I purchased this product in August 2017 and in January 2018 the plastic on the screws broke. I only wore glasses while working on the computer. I emailed the company asking if this is normal and what their warranty policy is. The company never answered me. So I can try to get my glasses sealed or buy new ones but I will not buy any more glasses from Gunnar. For the price I think it will last more than 5 months. I am sorry.

  • Quality construction

4 Months and Broken - Blue Light Protection Glasses

Like many other reviewers, these glasses broke with very little use in just 4 months. I wear them maybe 1 hour a day. They haven't been dropped and I take very good care of them. The sad thing is they look great and do exactly what they are supposed to. The material for the frame is obviously very cheap. If they were made of better material I would give them 5 stars. Definitely disappointing, I don't recommend them due to the cheap frame.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Useless Features

Very cheap and fragile

First the screw on the right fell into the bottomless void under my desk and was never seen again. Miraculously replaced. Then, about 7 months after the warranty expired, the frame spontaneously burst (see photo). I was just sitting at my desk, not even a light breeze was blowing, and my gunnars suddenly made a popping noise and moved a little on my face. At first I was very confused because it seemed to me that they hit him, but I am alone in my house, in the office, and there is nothing that…

Great for anti-reflective coating

I saw these products on Shark Tank and decided to try them. The packaging is high-quality and you immediately have the feeling that you have a lot. BUG: Immunity had a 0.25% prescription, which gave me frequent headaches and took it off more often when I was wearing it to work. Next came a product failure where the arm simply broke in half when worn. Unrepairable and weird. BENEFITS: Helps with glare at work from horrible lighting, reflections and close-up computers. And as soon as it broke…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Easily torn

Maybe brown lenses are better, I don't know

Maybe brown lenses are better, I don't know. These are my first Gunnar optics and I am very disappointed. After reading all the great reviews after doing some research I had high hopes but maybe I'm missing something or have the wrong idea of what to expect. I've noticed that when I'm wearing it, I often see a bluish-purple reflection next to certain objects, whether it's during the day or in the evening. I see it displayed in windows or when I'm looking at something that emits blue light like…

Too small, frame ripped within a month

Good: It helped with eyestrain. I'm an office worker and a gamer, so I spend most of the day looking at screens. Wearing them all day resulted in a noticeable reduction in eye strain and they look pretty good. The Bad: This listing doesn't say it's a "slim" model, meaning it's intended for people with small heads (it's listed as such). on Gunnar's official website, which is where I want to check first). I had to make some fine adjustments to my hands with a heat gun to get them to the point…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

They were BIG 2 DAYS BEFORE.

After wearing it for two days while working on the computer, the frame over my right eye broke and the lens fell off and rubbed the cornea. There was a small abrasion on my cornea that took several days to heal. I already have a recurring eye problem, which is why I've worn glasses from the start. I've had success with Gunnar in the past so I really expected a quality product. I immediately contacted someone through the Amazon website to have another pair delivered. I asked for 2 days delivery.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different
