It worked! It lasted 10 seconds. Super easy and super effective!

I've been trying to remove my son's broken headphone jack from his laptop for a month. I tried almost everything before I found this little tool. Received it quickly and it only took 10 seconds to unplug it. Super easy and super effective!

It almost worked, but actually didn't

So I was as careful as possible. I unplugged it halfway and had to try again...then a piece stuck in the screen. Now it's just black and white... luckily it was an almost 10 year old iPad mini 1 that belonged to my toddler (after it passed on me and my 7 year old). But still... I can't in good conscience recommend this to anyone. I was in dire need of a tablet with headphones for our upcoming overland move 😞 also the headphones are so thin it's the same. I couldn't reuse it after lifting it…

    It worked!: Cleaning and repair

This small piece was part of the aux jack that broke off in the phone! The longer part is the tube that was used to pull everything out! I won't lie, I was shocked it actually worked on the fifth try! I was ready to give up and made another desperate attempt and it really came out! I recommend reading the instructions when you receive them, the shorter tube is thinner and will fit some phones more easily. The long tube is thicker. It didn't fit around the broken auxiliary plug that was stuck…

It works! for computers and accessories

My daughter accidentally broke part of the headphone connector in her iPad. I went to several local stores and they offered me $80-$120 to have it removed. I didn't want to pay such a high price for something so small. I googled and found a few solutions like using a heated paper clip, super glue etc. I didn't want to risk damaging the inside of the iPad. I went to Revain and saw this product, I was skeptical but at $10 it was worth it. It took me 2 tries to get the defective connector out. The

Had a job at computer accessories and peripherals

My son broke his headphones and a large chunk was left inside the iPad. I took the iPad to the Apple store - it didn't help, to the cell phone repair shop - it didn't help. I've tried glue, pencil, whatever - doesn't help. This extraction tool was my last hope. To be honest I had very low expectations. The piece that broke was the big one. It technically ended up on the edge of the iPad (easier to extract small bits that are larger on the inside). First I tried a small tube and the metal case…

I've tried and cried since I got a new laptop for Christmas and the headphone jack broke. video and the guy said if that doesn't work try the product from the link. I saw something similar to yours but it was twice the size, no guarantee. It was a bit different with you, the price was right and the guarantee. I had nothing to lose and I'll tell you I had no hope. I ordered it and it came in a dream. Couldn't believe it. I have everything ready pliers about 6 different pairs lol watched your…

It works, but be careful not to apply too much pressure.

The instructions were pretty useless but gave enough information to get you started. I selected the tube indicated and plugged it into the iPad's headphone jack and pressed lightly. I then used a small pair of pliers to press down on the column and tap VERY lightly. I used a pair of pliers to grab the end of the collar and gently pull it out, squeezing slightly so the tube will hold whatever it is grabbing. After a minute or two of fiddling, it fell out along with part of the headphone jack…

Yes it works! at Computer Accessories & Peripherals

The entire tip of my headphone jack broke in my phone. I've tried many different DIY ways to remove the jack but nothing I've tried has worked to remove the stuck jack. Knowing that this tool might not work, I decided to buy it and give it a try anyway as some of the reviewers had success. I also bought a small hammer after reading other reviewers that the small hammer has enough weight to push the pipe deep enough without breaking it. Pipe is enough to grab the bushing to pull it out. I tried…

    Didn't work for me

The headphone jack in the iPad port is broken. I was hoping there would be a way to fit short or long hoses into the headphone jack. Don't believe the video. It is not enough to press the tube against the book. I tried to lightly hammer the short tube with the handle of a screwdriver. The edges at both ends of the short tube were warped. So second and last chance with a longer hose. I encountered such resistance that I literally hit the pipe with a hammer. I would say the pressure I tried to…
